The authors investigate spontaneous polarization and bistability in a room-temperature coated Cs cell with remarkably long spin coherence times of 17 seconds. Their results shed new light onto the phenomenon spin-exchange collisions, may find applications optical switches utilizing spin-bistability-relevant devices integrated optics potentially quantum interfaces.
This letter reports light narrowing in paraffin-coated vapor cells from room temperature 27℃ to 59℃, where spin-exchange relaxation is suppressed. By means of a coating lock and eliminating the reservoir effect, an ultra-narrow magnetic resonance linewidth 0.36 Hz atomic coherence lifetime T₂ = 0.9 s are achieved. In free buffer gas, narrow over this broad range result enhanced spin polarization, which facilitated by effective suppression radiation trapping benefiting stability density....

Low-spin states of neutron-rich 84,86,88Ge were measured by in-flight γ-ray spectroscopy at 270 MeV/u the RIKEN-RIBF facility. The exotic beams have been produced primary 238U fission reactions and impinged on MINOS device. combines a 10-cm long LH2 target with Time Projection Chamber (TPC) to reconstruct reaction vertices. selected BigRIPS ZeroDegree spectrometers for incoming outgoing channels, respectively. Emitted γ radiation was detected NaI-array DALI2. De-excitations from , 84,86Ge...
