We propose and experimentally demonstrate a novel modulation scheme called superposed pulse amplitude (SPAM) which is low-cost, insensitive to non-linearity of light emitting diode (LED). Multiple optical pulses transmit parallelly from different spatial position in the LED array overlap linearly free space realize SPAM. With arrangement, experimental results show that using we proposed data rate 120 Mbit/s with BER 1 × 10(-3) can be achieved an blue filter RC post-equalization.

According to our experimental observation, the effect of dead time caused by quenching circuit single photon avalanche diode (SPAD) devices could affect system performance significantly. Hence, we propose a corresponding synchronization scheme and fast blind union detection (FBUD) algorithm for received photon-counting pulse waveform considering time. To verify proposed theory under long distance turbulence fading channel, demonstrate SPAD-based visible light communication with red...

In the underwater visible light communication (VLC) system, single-photon avalanche diode (SPAD) can expand distance. However, output signals from practical SPADs under dead time limit are not Poisson distributed. this paper, generalized likelihood block detection (GLBD) receiver is developed for SPAD-based VLC system with on-off keying modulation. The proposed detect data sequence without any prior knowledge of channel and background radiation. Correspondingly, a fast search algorithm GLBD...

In this letter, we propose a Global navigation satellite system (GNSS) spoofing suppression method based on correlation peak cancellation (SCPC). The approach estimates the signal from baseband sampling sequence, and generates reverse sequence to suppress GNSS attack. Based this, receiver scheme with SCPC function is proposed by adding module general model. experimental verification conducted TEXBAT dataset. By comparing peaks, carrier-to-noise ratio trajectories of spoofed, mitigated...

For the long distance single photon avalanche diode (SPAD)-based underwater visible light communication (UVLC) system, multiple-symbol union detection scheme is presented. However, an error floor curve of bit-to-error ratio (BER) occurs and cannot vanish even though transmitted power approaches infinity. In this paper, to solve problems channel estimation in SPAD-based UVLC we propose one training symbol maximum likelihood (ML) receiver. First, add head each frame eliminate ensure reliable...

The single photon avalanche diode (SPAD) receivers are used for long-distance transmission owing to the high sensitivity and detection efficiency. However, dead time caused by quenching circuit makes output of practical SPAD devices not Poisson distributed. In this paper, after considering effect, we first propose multiple-symbol (MSD) theory SPAD-based visible light communication (VLC) system. addition, design a weak experiment system with red light-emitting (LED) status indicator device....

The underwater wireless optical communication (UWOC) system bit- error-rate (BER) performance in ocean is limited mainly by oceanic absorption and scattering. In this paper, we study the single photon avalanche diodes (SPAD) based UWOC systems with non-return-to-zero on-off keying (NRZ-OOK) modulation. To analyze performance, first get modulation of SPAD-based considering nonparalyzable deadtime limit. Moreover, practical maximum likelihood detection threshold for system. Our analytical...
