The demand for agricultural products is growing and resulting in significant environmental impacts due to the overuse of fertilizers (and pesticides some cases). There a continued need find sustainable methods systems without harming environment. Regenerative agriculture can be considered as one best agriculture. aim this comparative life cycle assessment (LCA) study was quantify associated with production silage maize at different doses under conventional use regenerative input data were...
Pyrolysing agricultural crop residues and other biomass constitutes a newer method of transforming often difficult, waste materials into novel type soil amendment/additive. Simultaneously, this process also makes it possible to exploit part the energy released in production. Biochar, viewed as solid product pyrolysis, is remarkable, porous material, rich carbon. Two residues, such wheat barley straw, were selected for experimental studies. The results indicate that practical temperature...
The energy herb and waste agricultural biomass create important potential of fossil fuels replacement for heating. At present is being used straw, other crops are sorrel, reed canary grass, knotweed miscanthus. combustion monitored CO NOx emissions. For five types were measured the emission parameters during their in boiler straw output 1 MW. emissions very different individual fuels. highest values achieved sorrel combustion.
Cotton dust is a waste produced in the cotton spinning mill. This matter mixture with grain straw and additive of brown coal was used for heat briquettes production. Mechanical properties, energy emission parameters were investigated during their incineration. The blended those have better use properties as compared from pure dust.
In accordance with the technical standard ČSN EN 13229 "Inset appliances for heating including open fires fired by solid fuels - Requirements and test methods" was performed basic assessment of thermal efficiency emission parameters prototype combustion accumulation stove SK-2 upper after-burning nominal heat output 8 kW. Verified gradually were bio-briquettes diameter 65 mm from mixture wheat straw 20% m/m brown coal, 5% straw, 10% water molasses solution, Ecobiopal created fermented blend...
Huge amounts of agricultural residues or wastes represent an interesting lignocellulosic material which can be used for energy recovery by pyrolysis as alternative to incineration. Together with the production, biochar (solid residue), advantage a soil conditioner other applications such adsorbents, supporting principles circular economy. Here we studied effect torrefaction and temperature from 250 700 °C on composition properties gas four types agrowaste-derived materials: sunflower harvest...
This article focuses on the quality of hemp oil processing, specifically filtration that is an important part technological procedure processing vegetable oils. The aim research was to determine effects pressure and temperature parameters when using plate filters. carried out experimental measuring device with adjustable static pressure. qualitative properties were observed in terms analytical composition, microbial content, changes peroxide value as indicator oxidation stability. change...
Biomass makes an important potential during alteration of fossil fuel by heating process. There is no possibility using bio-fuels without a judgment their influence to environment. Knowledge biomass burning characteristics also very before its use. This study mainly focused on gas emissions briquette bio-fuels. Burned fuels are converted the briquettes 65 mm diameter. CO2, CO, O2, SO2, NOx and HCl concentrations were checked. Air surplus coefficient (n) set other values measured. Highest...
Five different energy grass plants (reed canary grass, tall fescue, orchardgrass, oatgrass, red top) were identified and studied for the purpose of determining fuel qualities plants' mass while focusing on ash fusion temperatures. The cultivated four locations harvested in various times year (early summer, autumn spring following year). It was found that temperatures early summer substantially lower comparison with harvest. analysis composition ashes gathered from samples contained a higher...
They are described two blend fuels with a high hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) share and sustainable biofuels of the fatty acid methyl ester HVO types ZETOR 9540 tractor in framework long-term operational test. Compared to standard fossil diesel, results measuring performance parameters characteristics for assessment use these tractors other agricultural machinery mentioned. It was specified quality, manufacturer, emission factors greenhouse gas savings clean certified their percentages...
The article deals with verification of a diesel fuel and two mixtures blends different amounts the bio-component using model single-cylinder engine without additional equipment for treatment exhaust gases. This combustion served measuring performance characteristics individual emission components in order to assess use these liquid paraffinic practice meet current forthcoming European legislation fulfil commitments by 2020. A detailed chemical analysis was performed case all tested fuels.
