Ozone, composed of three atoms oxygen, can be used to oxidize many inorganic and organic impurities. Because its high oxidizing capacity, the opportunities parameters ozone gas use in bleaching cotton fabrics were researched this study. It was found that a very short time bleached if water content cotton-woven fabric 60% pH impregnated 7. Moreover, ozonation at room temperature shown more efficient than medium temperatures.
The present study aims to develop multilayer barrier-bioactive hybrid sol-gel coatings from a mixture of the silane precursors tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS) and glycidoxypropyltriethoxysilane (GPTMS) deposited on Elektron 21 magnesium alloy. purpose inner layer (barrier coating) was provide corrosion protection alloy, whereas outer (bioactive doped with different Ca Mg contents produce bioactive material. were characterised using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) their behaviour evaluated...
The aim of this study is to investigate the effects new advanced processes (ultrasound, ozonation, and ultraviolet) on cotton woven fabric's hydrophility polymerization degrees, breaking strengths, whiteness, desizing degrees. For purpose, all trials were realized with water at 63-65°C by aid processes. At end experiments, it was noticed that can be used in pretreatment fabrics. Ultrasonic treatment followed ozonation gives sufficient whiteness degrees hydrophilily values fabric. same time,...
Abstract The aim of this study was to investigate the effects novel treatment techniques (ozone and ultrasound) on dyeability Angora rabbit fiber. For purpose, ozonation time fiber moisture during dyeing properties were researched. Also, performed conventionally with use ultrasound after ozonation; these compared in terms color yields. Consequently, it found that process power improved significantly. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci,
It is well known that ozone can be used as a bleaching agent for cellulosic textile materials. In the context of this study, investigations were undertaken to optimize linen fabrics using Box-Behnken Experimental Design. The process involved two distinct steps where ozonated under different treatment times then latter in subsequent step subjected hydrogen peroxide variety conditions. As result three optimum recipes achieved and pretreatment with 15 min before supplies time chemical savings.
This article is about bleaching of soybean fibers. Although the studies related to dyeing fibers have been found in literature, little has reported on effect bleaching. The natural color protein pale yellow or cream, and it therefore usually necessary bleach them improve their whiteness. Different treatments combined with ozonation were performed order establish whiteness, yellowness, lightness, wettability, hydrophility, moisture sorption, fiber damage properties knitted fabric. As a result...
Bleaching is a finishing process to whiten the gray fabrics. During this it important ensure demanded results with minimum fiber damage by considering environmental aspects. As result of this, study focused on wool bleaching which also an for quality products. It was managed and without ultrasound found that via better can be obtained in addition improvement contact angles related hydrophilicity. expected process, same conventional will reached lower treatment temperatures or time now...
The main objective of the present investigation was to evaluate employment a fluoride-based pretreatment WE54 magnesium alloy on protection-degradation mechanism TEOS (tetraethylorthosilicate)/GPTMS (glycidoxypropyltriethoxysilane) hybrid sol–gel coatings when in contact with saline environment, giving special attention influence time. experimental results evidenced that long times favoured formation hydroxyfluoride layer higher F/O ratio, which improved corrosion performance and alloy....
This paper provides a general framework for studying the yellowing tendency of ozonated cotton fabric. Yellowing fabric and ways to prevent this situation was examined extensively. For purpose, five different treatments (hot/cold rinsing, washing, reductive catalase treatment) were performed after ozonation. It found that performing any kind treatment significantly important preventing during storage.
In this study, ozonation as an environmentally friendly bleaching method was studied for decolorization of leather products. The effect time (3, 5, 10, 15 and 30 min) water pick-up value (WPV) (0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% 100%) were investigated on effect. For aim, the color measurement tensile strength tests performed, also structural changes determined by scanning electron microscope (SEM) Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) after process. results measurements showed that min 60% WPV...
Polymeric fibres are semicrystalline structures in which the macromolecules rarely oriented their equilibrium state. Further instabilities imparted when converted to yarns and fabrics. Heat‐setting is an important industrial process, as it reduces fibre strain acceptable limit. This paper presents results of a study on effects various presettings (heat‐, steam‐ hot water‐setting processes) dyeing properties polyamide 6.6 with acid dyestuffs. It was found that colour yield lower for dyed...
