Predictive maintenance (PdM) plays a key role in the Industry since it allows optimization of schedule for proactive interventions and to take maximum advantage useful lifetime industrial assets. The reliability-centered (RCM) is based on equipment's reliability use different strategies optimize costs. With recently proposed data-driven methodology entitled generalized fault trees (GFT), possible assess equipment real-time, their actual condition. In this paper, we exploit GFT completely...

A considerable part of enterprises’ total expenses is dedicated to maintenance interventions. Predictive (PdM) has appeared as a solution decrease these costs; however, the necessity end-to-end solutions in deploying predictive models and fact that are often difficult interpret by practitioners hinder adoption PdM approaches. In this work, we propose flexible architecture for recommend actions. The proposed based on containerized microservices intelligent edge devices together with hybrid...

Abstract The Multi‐Objective Bike Routing Problem (MOBRP) addressed in this paper consists finding a set of good solutions that represents the trade‐off between cyclist preferences when choosing route. We propose new genetic approach to solve MOBRP (NGA‐MOBRP) with mutation operator. To test approach, we consider four conflicting criteria: safety, travel distance, time, and comfort. well‐known Nondominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II (NSGA‐II) is also implemented context, its weaknesses are...

Digital pathology is a new branch of medical imaging referring to the aggregation equipment and software acquire, store display microscopic images in distributed network environment. This article proposes an architecture describes implementation collaborative web platform. The solution brings modern concept, common social business networks, into Pathology workflows supported by customised PACS-DICOM infrastructure. system assures services like creation working sessions, users groups, access...

With the increasing concern about sustainable means of transport, use bicycle is earning popularity. However, for cyclists, it may be a challenge to this mean transportation in an urban context, since there are plenty route choices available and each them represent different trade-off between multiple objectives, such as safety travel distance. These trade-offs depend on cyclist's experience preferences. Thus, while experienced cyclist choose shortest path source destination points, beginner...

Data-based prognostic methods exploit sensor data to forecast the remaining useful life (RUL) of industrial settings optimize scheduling maintenance actions. However, implementing sensors may not be cost-effective or practical for all components. Traditional preventive approaches are based on data; however, they schedule at equally spaced intervals, which is a approach since distribution time between failures changes with degradation state other parts in working conditions. This study...

The aim of this research is to evaluate the complementarity between electric vehicle (EV) penetration and large scale grid integration solar photovoltaic (PV) in Portugal following decades. Portuguese electricity system 2050 simulated with without EV incorporation. Different charging scenarios are considered, allowing determination maximum PV feasible for different profiles. Results show that EPIA can only be achieved by mid-day charging.

Reliability analysis and probability methods are of extreme importance for understanding the behavior critical systems. In this scope, dynamic fault trees (DFTs) consolidated graphical models, previously applied at known entities, such as NASA TESLA.However, (classical) DFTs has a issue; fact that it assumes distribution basic events (BEs) follows exponential/Weibull distribution, which is often rough approximation real data distributions. Moreover, building DFT model system requires...
