Interference is one of the most limiting factors when trying to achieve high spectral efficiency in deployment heterogeneous networks (HNs). In this paper, HN modeled as a layer closed-access LTE femtocells (FCs) overlaid upon an radio access network. Within context dynamic learning games, work proposes novel multiobjective fully distributed strategy based on reinforcement (RL) model (CODIPAS-HRL) for FC self-configuration/optimization. The self-organization capability enables FCs...
This work addresses analytically the impact of multi-cell, multi-operator interference on overall radio resources when multiple operators co-exist and share a common pool spectrum. We propose centralised dynamic spectrum allocation (DSA) scheme that is able to measure level interact dynamically minimise enhance utilisation while maintaining satisfactory QoS. Furthermore, concise system model framework describe interaction among different presented.
In this paper, we propose a new adaptive link layer protocol that consists in adapting packet length and Modulation Coding Scheme (MCS) to Average Signal Noise Ratio or instantaneous SNR (ISNR). Adaptive MCS offer higher throughput than fixed as considered previous studies. The best strategy is adapt the ISNR. 1-2 dB gains with respect length. proposed has been implemented by quantizing on feedback channel over four bits yielding close results unquantized SNR.
In this article, a method to enhance data rates of free-space optical (FSO) systems using packet length optimization is proposed. The average signal-to-noise ratio (ASNR) measured at the receiver and sent back transmitter optimize length. addition, optimized throughput. We concluded that can be reduced low ASNR. However, should increased higher values received For each ASNR, we also choose optimal modulation coding scheme (MCS) maximize Different MCSs are investigated such as 4-pulse...
The decentralised and ad hoc nature of femtocell deployments calls for distributed learning strategies to mitigate interference. We propose a spectrum awareness scheme networks, based on combined payoff strategy reinforcement (RL) models. present two different strategies, modifications the Bush Mosteller (BM) RL Roth-Erev algorithms. simulation results show convergence behaviour under dynamic robust game. As compared RL, our modified BM (MBM) converges smoothly stable satisfactory solution....
In this paper, we propose a sensing scheme based on energy detection, matched filter and cyclic prefix. Both Equal Gain Combining (EGC) optimal combination of the aforementioned detectors are investigated in cooperative non-cooperative spectrum scenarios. packet transmission systems such as OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple access) systems, proposed takes advantage utilizing more samples than individual detectors, i.e., prefix, training or pilot samples, data payload samples. The...
In this paper, we suggest a new algorithm for leak detection and localisation on gas pipeline. We decompose the pipeline in different sections of length L. put two pressure sensors at beginning studied section location x = iL other end located (i + 1)L where i 0, …, N – 1 is number also use mass flow rate each section. Our uses gradient squared to locate leak. show that our allows with 1.2% error distance. tested 15 km average was around 180 m. Therefore, 180/15,000 1.2%.
Dynamic spectrum allocation (DSA) has been cited as a promising mechanism for managing the radio coexisting systems. The goal of DSA scheme is to increase performance networks in shared spectrum, by providing more efficient way utilisation. This work addresses analytically impact multi-cell, multi-operator interference on overall when multiple operators co-exist and share common pool resources. We propose centralised that able capture level interact dynamically minimise enhance utilisation...
In this paper, we suggest to maximize the instantaneous throughput of primary and secondary networks cognitive radio by optimizing packet length. Besides, Primary Receiver P R measures ISINR transmitter...
In this paper, we suggest to maximize the instantaneous and average throughput of Visible Light Communications (VLC). Two approaches are presented: The first one uses Instantaneous Signal Noise Ratio (ISNR) derive Optimal Packet Length (OPL) that maximizes throughput. second approach Average (ASNR) OPL maximization using allows up 4.5 dB gains with respect fixed packet length. 1.5
The rapid increase in the number of wireless devices highlights importance intensive dynamic use available spectrum. One technology to implement spectrum access is Cognitive Radio (CR). main challenges CR gaining awareness, thus being able undertake reliable and sufficiently sensitive sensing. In this paper, an OFDM-based system exploiting inherent cyclic prefix (CP) idle period transmission signals proposed, assuming a realistic fading channel. Furthermore, collaborative sensing has been...
In this article, we suggest optimizing packet length for two way relaying with energy harvesting. In the first transmission phase, source nodes N 1 and 2 are transmitting data to each others through a selected relay R. second will amplify sum of signals received from .The amplifies using harvested Radio Frequency (RF) transmitted by .Finally, remove, relay's signal, its own signal be able decode symbol .Similarly, .We derive outage probability, error probability throughput at also optimize...
In this paper, we suggest to maximize the throughput of millimeter Wave (mmwave) Communications. The first approach consists select packet length that maximizes instantaneous throughput. second optimizes in order average Our results are valid for interference limited mmWave communications presence an arbitrary number relays. Instantaneous maximization allows up 5 dB gain with respect fixed as considered previous papers. Average 2.5 length.
In this article, we optimize packet length for cooperative systems. Packet optimization allows to increase data rates. Our analysis is valid dual hop and multihop relaying. Two adaptation protocols are studied where the of Modulation Coding Scheme (MCS) made with respect Average Signal Noise Ratio (ASNR) or instantaneous SNR (ISNR). Results show that 1.5-2.5 dB gain.
