$\alpha$ decay occurs in both ground states and isomers of nuclei. In this work, we use the two-potential approach to systematically study whether isomeric play a key role on particle clustering or not. The results indicate ratios preformation probabilities are found be around 1.
In present work, the unfavored $\mathcal{\alpha}$ decay half-lives and preformation probabilities of closed shell nuclei related to ground isomeric states around $Z=82$, $N=82$ 126 closures are investigated by adopting two-potential approach from perspective valence nucleon (hole) isospin asymmetry parent nucleus. Based on the dispersion equation obtained from Helmholtz in plasma sheath region and main column for surface waves, propagation constant properties interface of are studied.
