A surface plasmon resonance (SPR) temperature sensor based on a photonic crystal fiber (PCF) filled with silver nanowires is proposed in this paper. We inject ethanol solution into the grapefruit PCF to realize sensing. The sensitivity of can reach -433pm/∘C by numerical simulation, and experimental result -160pm/∘C.
