The goal of the presented investigation was to study differences in decoration graphene sheets, having various amounts oxygen containing functional groups, with silver nanoparticles (AgNPs).
The composites of ZnFe2O4 (ZFO) with TiO2 (anatase, rutile) were synthesized and tested towards the photocatalytic reduction CO2 to CO in gas phase. ZFO was obtained through precipitation from zinc iron nitrates(V) precursors, followed by hydrothermal treatment, its physicochemical properties examined using XRD, FT-IR, XPS, SEM-EDS, XRF techniques. simply ground agate mortar one polymorphs, forming ZFO/anatase ZFO/rutile. Spectroelectrochemical (SE-DRS), surface photovoltage (SPV), transient...
Ag 2 O does not create an effective p–n junction with TiO but is phototransformed into silver nanoparticles during the photocatalytic process. The resulting increase photoactivity of system in hydrogen evolution.
The influence of copper doping cadmium sulfide on the activity in composites with TiO2 (anatase) for photocatalytic CO2 reduction was examined. CdS and (Cu,Cd)S were synthesized by hydrothermal method characterized using XRD, XPS, SEM, EDS, XRF methods. It found that is responsible shift band edge potentials. mechanisms performance created heterojunctions elucidated photoelectrochemical, spectroelectrochemical surface photovoltage techniques. S-scheme heterojunction recognized both examined...
This paper discusses the electrochemical behavior of antiviral drug Tenofovir (TFV) and its possible applicability towards electroanalytical determination with diverse detection strategies using square-wave voltammetry. Namely, oxidation processes were investigated glassy carbon electrode graphene oxide surface modification (GO/GCE), while reduction processes, related to studied analyte, analyzed at a renewable silver amalgam (Hg(Ag)FE). Scanning electron microscopy imaging confirmed...
Graphene oxide or reduced graphene oxide-TiO2 (TGO TRGO) nanocomposites were decorated with Ag nanoparticles (AgNPs) using the photoreduction method. The photocatalytic growth of AgNPs on TGO and TRGO was compared, while keeping other parameters (i.e., thickness, chemical composition, crystalline structure percentage an area TiO2 covered by GO RGO flakes) unchanged. morphology, composition TGO-Ag TRGO-Ag investigated use SEM-EDS, XPS Raman spectroscopy. found to be distributed surface...
This work is focused on photocatalytic properties of titanium dioxide thin coatings modified with silver nanostructures (AgNSs) and graphene oxide (GO) sheets which were analyzed in processes chemical transformations rhodamine B (RhB) under ultraviolet (UV) or visible light (Vis) irradiation, respectively. UV-Vis spectroscopy was applied to analyze the changes RhB spectrum during processes, revealing decolorization solution UV irradiation while same process coexisting transformation 110...
In this work, the application of highly defective cobalt and copper tungstates was proposed for photocatalytic CO2 reduction. The materials were synthesized by hydrothermal method characterized with SEM, EDS, XRD, XPS DRS techniques. Studied examined in reduction to CO gas phase, as bare photocatalysts mixtures TiO2. behavior junctions between mixture components determined using photoelectrochemical, spectroelectrochemical surface photovoltage measurements. These studies reveal different...
The analytical performance of the clay paste electrode and graphene was compared using square wave voltammetry (SWV) cyclic (CV). comparison made on basis a paracetamol (PA) determination both working electrodes. influence pH SWV parameters investigated. linear concentration ranges were found to be 6.0 × 10-7-3.0 10-5 2.0 10-6-8.0 mol L-1 for (ClPE) (GrPE), respectively. detection quantification limits calculated as 1.4 10-7 4.7 ×10-7 ClPE 3.7 1.2 10-6 GrPE, Developed methods successfully...
In this study, differential pulse (DPV) and cyclic voltammetry (CV) were used to investigate the electrocatalytic effects of two oxygen-containing graphene derivatives, as surface modifiers, on oxidation mechanism acemetacin, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Scanning electron microscopy was employed examine modified glassy carbon electrodes surface, it discovered, that morphology composition coatings strongly influenced electroanalysis ACM. Cyclic confirm ACM adsorption dependence...
The results of this work cover the influence plasmonic (gold) and non-plasmonic (palladium) nanostructures on photocatalytic activity redox properties titanium dioxide.
