Cerebellum injury is a severe and underestimated complication in very low birth-weight infants. Six cases of extreme premature babies are reported: 3 them died during the neonatal period; other survived with neurological disabilities. Microcephaly, strabismus, developmental delay without major motor handicap peculiar for preterm long-term outcome . Easy diagnosis possible by specific ultrasound windows early required regarding prognosis to organize precisely follow-up.
