In the present work, AlN was modified with vinyltriethoxysilane (VTES), and its effect on properties of a thermally conductive composite high impact polystyrene (HIPS), investigated. Three composites, HIPS/AlN5, HIPS/AlN9, HIPS/moAlN9, were prepared by mixing HIPS in toluene solution, followed hot pressing.
