Abstract The development of functional compounds for extrusion applied in the additive manufacturing anthropomorphic simulators is interesting, as it guarantees manufacture a 3D model similar to patient. These find applications therapies or laboratory tests involving x‐rays. In order replicate human conditions these tests, essential create materials that closely match properties tissue, including smoothness soft tissues and hardness bone tissue. The high-pressure behavior of the Prussian Blue analogue $\mathrm{Fe}[\mathrm{Co}{(\mathrm{C}\mathrm{N})}_{6}]$ has been explored by energy- and angle-dispersive x-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared, Raman spectroscopy. This cyanide-bridged framework material becomes amorphous above $10\phantom{\rule{0.3em}{0ex}}\mathrm{GPa}$ form is retained upon pressure release. Samples recovered from around $17\phantom{\rule{0.3em}{0ex}}\mathrm{GPa}$ exhibit a dark, metallic luster their spectra...

Injection molding has important advantages over other methods for the production of advanced ceramic parts with complex shapes. In this work, low‐pressure injection was used to produce helical springs using two different kinds molds. The powders were submicrometer‐sized alumina and partially stabilized zirconia. Sintered zirconia obtained free defects, densities from 96% 99% theoretical value. preliminary mechanical tests, these supported axial deformations up 10% before failure.

Abstract Background The use of panoramic radiography (PR) is a complementary examination to aid in the diagnosis cases paediatric dentistry. lack specific protocols for these devices, however, can result high doses radiation, affecting critical organs such as thyroid. Aim To evaluate discrepancies ionizing radiation received by thyroid during PR examinations using anthropomorphic simulators built from computed tomography images. Design Two phantoms were printed and used, representing...

Zirconium tungstate (α‐ZrW 2 O 8 ) exhibits isotropic negative thermal expansion over a wide range of temperatures. Under high pressure it transforms to metastable amorphous phase with positive coefficient. α‐ZrW can be fully recovered by annealing the at temperatures slightly above 600°C, room pressure. In this work, we describe dependency linear coefficient ZrW temperature, showing that continuously tuned, in two stages, from about 7.5° −9°C −1 . These stages are related relaxation and...

A minimum 0.5 wt% (relative alumina content) is required cover whole surface. Suspensions regain stability at ca. 1.0 (ca.1 mg tannin/m2 surface area), due high negative ζ-potential (−60 mV, pH = 8.0).
