Injection molding has important advantages over other methods for the production of advanced ceramic parts with complex shapes. In this work, low‐pressure injection was used to produce helical springs using two different kinds molds. The powders were submicrometer‐sized alumina and partially stabilized zirconia. This work explores the stabilization effect of a sulfonated tannin (black wattle extract) on water-suspended α-alumina particles. Results showed that first additions lead to particle agglomeration.
