We study a system of interacting spinless fermions in one dimension which, the absence interactions, reduces to Kitaev chain [A. Yu Kitaev, Phys.-Usp. \textbf{44}, 131 (2001)]. In non-interacting case, signal topological order appears as zero-energy modes localized near edges. show that exact ground states can be obtained analytically even presence nearest-neighbor repulsive interactions when on-site (chemical) potential is tuned particular function other parameters. As with are two-fold...
Nitroxide diradicals, in which nitroxides are annelated to m-phenylene forming tricyclic benzobisoxazine-like structures, have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography, magnetic resonance (EPR 1H NMR) spectroscopy, as well studies solution solid state. For the octamethyl derivative of benzobisoxazine nitroxide diradical, conformationally constrained moieties coplanar with m-phenylene, leading large values 2J (2J/k > 200 K 2J/k ≫ 300 state). all ortho para positions...
Identification of isolated Majorana zero modes (MZMs) is a key step towards the realization fault-tolerant topological quantum computation. Here we show how $T_1$-based noise magnetormetry nitrogen-vacancy (NV) center qubit can reveal unique signatures fermions attached to vacancies in non-Abelian Kitaev spin liquid (KQSL). The $1/T_1$ NV found be increased significantly when working frequency matches energy difference between MZM and low-energy hybridized mode involving dangling adjacent...
In the Kitaev chiral spin liquid, Ising anyons are realized as Z_{2} fluxes binding Majorana zero modes, which, however, thermal excitations with finite decay rates. On other hand, a lattice vacancy traps flux even in ground state, resulting stable realization of mode vacancy. We demonstrate that spin-spin correlation functions between two sites exhibit long-range arising from fractionalized character spite strong bulk correlations. Remarkably, this nonlocal does not decrease distance...
A purely organic, high-spin, and durable polyradical molecule was synthesized: It is based on the non-Kekulé- non-disjoint design of a pi-conjugated poly(1,2-phenylenevinylene) backbone pendantly 4-substituted with multiple robust arylaminium radicals. 4-N,N-Bis(4-methoxy- -tert-butylphenyl)amino-2-bromostyrene 5 were synthesized polymerized palladium-phosphine catalyst to afford head-to-tail-linked precursors (1). Oxidation 1 nitrosonium ion solubilized crown ether gave aminium polyradicals...
Multiband effects on Fulde-Ferrell-Larkin-Ovchinnikov (FFLO) states of a Pauli-limiting two-band superconductor are studied theoretically in the wide range parameters, based Bogoliubov-de Gennes equation. First, we examine phase diagrams systems with passive band which intraband pairing interaction is absent and superconductivity induced by Cooper pair tunneling from an active band. The critical field Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer to FFLO becomes lower than Lifshitz point increasing interband...
Abstract We report the mirror suspension design for large-scale cryogenic gravitational wave telescope, KAGRA, during bKAGRA phase 1. Mirror thermal noise is one of fundamental noises room-temperature gravitational-wave detectors such as Advanced LIGO and Virgo. Thus, reduction required further improvement their sensitivity. One effective approach reducing to cool mirrors. There are many technical challenges that must be overcome mirrors, cryocooler induced vibrations, drift in suspensions,...
Bose-Einstein condensates which are dominated by magnetic dipole-dipole interaction discussed under spinful situations. We treat the spin degrees of freedom as a classical vector, approaching from large limit to obtain an effective minimal Hamiltonian. This is version extended nonlinear sigma model. By solving Gross-Pitaevskii equation, we find several novel textures where mass density and strongly coupled, depending upon trap geometries due long-range anisotropic natures interaction.
We investigate the dynamic properties of bouncing and penetration in colliding binary ternary Bose-Einstein condensates comprised different Zeeman or hyperfine states $^{87}\mathrm{Rb}$. Through application magnetic field gradient pulses, two- three-component an optical trap are spatially separated then made to collide. The subsequent evolutions classified into two categories: repeated motion mutual after damped bounces. experimentally observed for immiscible condensates, between miscible...
Time-course changes in the elasticity index (EI) of 8 cultivars and 1 selection grape berries on vines were investigated with a nondestructive acoustic method. A portable device was constructed for measurement firmness. The EI determined by formula = f22 · d2, where f2 d second resonant frequency diameter sample respectively. In all cultivars, date veraison judged touch largely decreased around veraison. These classified into two types; one before other after compared firmness measured...
In order to realize biaxial mesophases of straight rod-like molecules by introduction lateral perfluoroarene–arene interactions, non-alkylated liquid crystalline compounds C6X5–COO–C6Z4–C6Z4–OOC–C6Y5, F-BB-F (X = Y F, Z H), F-BB-B B-BB-B B-FF-B H, F), F-FF-B =H, and F-FF-F F) were prepared, their phase transition behaviors investigated polarized light optical microscopy (POM) differential scanning calorimetery (DSC). From the one- two-dimensional X-ray diffraction (1D- 2D-XRD) studies...
The non-equilibrium spatial dynamics in a two-component Bose-Einstein condensate were excited by controlled miscible-immiscible transition, which immiscible condensates with domain structures are transferred to the miscible changing internal state of 87Rb atoms. subsequent evolution exhibits oscillation involving component mixing and separation. We show that larger total energy system results higher frequency. This investigation introduces new technique control miscibility degrees freedom...

Quantized vortex core structure is theoretically investigated in Fermion superfluids with population imbalance for two atom species of neutral clouds near a Feshbach resonance. In contrast balance case where the quantum depletion makes visible through density profile measurement, filled and becomes less because quantized discrete bound states are occupied exclusively by majority species. We have solved numerically the ground states of a Bose-Einstein condensate in presence dipolar interparticle forces using semiclassical approach. Our motivation is to model, particular, spontaneous spin textures emerging quantum gases with large dipole moments, such as 52Cr or Dy condensates, ultracold consisting polar molecules. For pancake-shaped harmonic (optical) potential, we present state phase diagram spanned by strength nonlinear coupling and interactions. In an elongated observe...
