Abstract Astronomers do not have a complete picture of the effects wide-binary companions (semimajor axes greater than 100 au) on formation and evolution exoplanets. We investigate these using new data from Gaia Early Data Release 3 Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite mission to characterize systems with transiting identify sample 67 exoplanet candidates (with well-determined, edge-on orbital inclinations) that reside in wide visual binary systems. derive limits parameters for measure...
We present TOI-1259Ab, a 1.0 Rjup gas giant planet transiting 0.71 Rsun K-dwarf on 3.48 day orbit. The system also contains bound white dwarf companion TOI-1259B with projected distance of approximately 1600 AU from the host. Transits are observed in nine TESS sector and 2.7 per cent deep - among deepest known making TOI-1259Ab promising target for atmospheric characterization. Our follow-up radial velocity measurements indicate variability semiamplitude K = 71 m/s, implying mass 0.44 Mjup....
Continuing the project described by Kato et al. (2009, arXiv:0905.1757), we collected times of superhump maxima for 127 SU UMa-type dwarf novae observed mainly during 2016--2017 season and characterized these objects. We provide updated statistics relation between orbital period variation superhumps, variations rebrightening type in WZ Sge-type obtained minimum 0.05290(2)d confirmed presence gap above ~0.09d. note that four objects (NY Her, 1RXS J161659.5+620014, CRTS J033349.8-282244 SDSS...
The types of instability in the interacting binary stars are reviewed. project "Inter-Longitude Astronomy" is a series smaller projects on concrete or groups stars. It has no special funds, and supported from resources grants participating organizations, when informal working created. Totally we studied 1900+ variable different types. characteristic timescale seconds to decades (extrapolating) even more. monitoring first star our sample AM Her was initiated by Prof. V.P.
