Villa Il Gioiello was the perfect site to host National Project Managers mee- ting of EU-UNAWE project, an EU-funded project in which INAF–Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory is a partner. The aims educate young children astronomy – especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds mainly by promoting teacher training and producing inspiring materials for both teachers students (www.unawe.org).
The INAF Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory recently inaugurated a permanent exhibition that has been designed in order to be inclusive also for blind and visually impaired people. project built on previous activities at local, national international levels newly exhibits, like the haptic planetarium dome. tested with people, proved attractive useful general public visiting Observatory.
