Introduction . Over the past decades, a number of classifications and their updates have been developed for acute myeloid leukemia (AML) myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). Myeloid neoplasms (MN) after previous therapy other diseases had different designations. The fifth edition WHO classification provides most accurate definition these neoplasmes — MN post cytotoxic (MN-pCT). problem choosing is largely related to treatment first oncological disease. Aim : present difficulties classifying...

The Catford apparatus for determining the objective visual acuity was elevated with 20 normal (20 eyes) and 40 abnormal (75 diseased patients. vision of individuals fogged neutral-density filters convex lenses. Eyes or near showed good correlation between optokinetic response acuity, but no observed in eyes poor vision. These findings, which vary from those Catford, indicate that methods testing using a nystagmoid do not appear useful general clinical purposes.

We describe a patient with acute myeloblastic leukemia (AML-M0) whose cells had t(2;11)(p21;q23). Fluorescence in situ hybridization analysis probe for MLL showed that it was split, hybridizing to both the derivative 2 and 11 chromosomes. Nineteen other patients 2p;11q translocations have been described; breakpoints 14 of these are same as case we describe. The phenotype is quite variable, having myelodysplastic syndrome which evolved AML six. Four two lymphoblastic leukemia. status has...

The article describes the use of a computer optical microscopy with multispectral camera to characterize texture blasts bone marrow patients different variants acute lymphoblastic leukemia: B- and T- types. Specific characteristics chromatin nuclei for types leukemia were obtained.

The paper describes the method of recognition T - and B variants acute lymphoblastic leukemia in microscopic images blood cells. is based on use texture characteristics images. Experimental accuracy evaluation obtained from sample 38 patients (17 with T-ALL 21 B-ALL leukemia). results show possibility applying proposed approach to differential diagnosis T- B- leukemia.

The work investigated the effect of choice color space component on blood cell detection based calculation texture attributes cells nuclei in bone marrow. study identified most informative and characteristics cells, designed for components these spaces. Significance ratio was introduced to assess quality features. We offered features that have enabled divide lymphocytes from lymphoblasts. selection results data analysis.

Abstract To date, only anti‐glycophorin‐A monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) have been widely used as anti‐erythroid probes in the diagnosis of leukemias. We examined blood, bone‐marrow and lymph‐node samples from 474 patients, adults children, with different hemopoietic malignancies, using a panel MAbs including 2 directed to glycophorin‐A an antigen erythroblasts, Ag‐Eb. MAb HAE9 against human epitope Ag‐Eb has earlier shown be highly specific for immature erythroid cells. Of all 2.7%...

Bone marrow blast cells of 174 child and 188 adult patients with AML were examined characterized in terms their FAB type, immunological phenotype (102 children, 123 adults) karyotype (69 95 adults). The incidence variants proved similar children adults. In under 15 over 60, peroxidase activity myeloblasts was lower than middle-aged patients. Similar rates HLA-Dr. Thy-1, CD11a, T-cell antigens, CD19, Gly-A Eb antigens found frequency CD11b, CD38 CD10 antigen expression on higher Abnormal...
