We study theoretically the equilibrium fluctuations of steps on vicinal surfaces. From an analytical continuum description step edge, we find a single Langevin equation governing motion isolated around its position that includes attachment/detachment atoms, diffusion over terrace, along and evaporation. then extend this approach to treat array steps, i.e., surface. also present, in appendix, alternative formalism which detachment terrace step-edge can take place independently. In established...
We demonstrate that a particle driven by set of spatially uncorrelated, independent colored noise forces in bounded, multidimensional potential exhibits rotations are the initial conditions. calculate currents terms statistics and asymmetries deriving an n-dimensional Fokker-Planck equation small correlation time limit. analyze variety flow patterns for various structures, generating combinations laminar rotational flows.
In recent decades, there has been significant research on the role of torsion in gravity, with a focus aligning gravity its gauge formulation and including spin into geometric description. order to account for present phenomenon universe’s accelerated expansion, developments have introduced [Formula: see text] theories that rely disparities found teleparallel gravity. Torsion, rather than curvature, is fundamental property describes these theories. When compared involving functions, field...
