Fungal foliar diseases can severely affect the productivity of peanut crop worldwide. Late leaf spot is most frequent disease and a major problem in Brazil many other tropical countries. Only partial resistance to fungal has been found cultivated peanut, but high resistances have described on secondary gene pool.
