We have searched for an asymmetry in the inelastic scattering of electrons from a polarized proton target region resonance excitation, at values four-momentum transfer squared 0.4, 0.6, and 1.0 ${(\mathrm{G}\mathrm{e}\mathrm{V}/\mathit{c})}^{2}$. Data were also taken using incident positron beam order to distinguish any possible effect time-reversal invariance violation that due higher-order (${\ensuremath{\alpha}}^{3}$) contributions scattering. No sizable was found.

We have measured the asymmetry in elastic scattering of electrons from a polarized proton target. An interference between imaginary part two-photon-exchange amplitude and one-photon-exchange could produce polarization effect. The results indicate no within experimental accuracy 1 to 2% at four-momentum-transfer-squared values o.38, 0.59, 0.98 ${(\mathrm{G}\mathrm{e}\mathrm{V}/\mathit{c})}^{2}$.

Abstract. Plant functional traits determine vegetation responses to environmental variation, but variation in trait values is large, even within a single site. Likewise, uncertainty how these map Earth system feedbacks large. We use demographic model (VDM), the Functionally Assembled Terrestrial Ecosystem Simulator (FATES), explore parameter sensitivity of predictions, and comparison observations, at tropical forest site: Barro Colorado Island Panama. define 12-dimensional distribution plant...

Abstract Cisplatin is a well‐known chemotherapeutic agent that can be associated with hyponatremia. It known to multitude of renal disorders including acute kidney injury reduced glomerular filtration, Fanconi syndrome, and tubular acidosis, nephrogenic diabetes insipidus salt wasting syndrome. We report case an elderly male presenting significant recurrent hyponatremia, prerenal azotemia. With recent exposure cisplatin along hypovolemia urinary loss sodium, he was diagnosed have induced

Abstract Fundamental axes of variation in plant traits result from trade-offs between costs and benefits resource-use strategies at the leaf scale. However, it is unclear whether optimality principles functional leaves are conserved ecosystem level. We tested three well-known leaf- plant-level coordination theories scale: economics spectrum, global spectrum form function, least-cost hypothesis. combined properties 98 FLUXNET sites, vegetation properties, ecosystem-level into corresponding...
