This study presents the isolation, characterization, and kinetic analyses of cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) from date palm waste in United Arab Emirates. After bleaching stem with acidified NaClO2 delignification via NaOH treatments, was extracted. Mineral acid hydrolysis (62 wt % H2SO4) performed at 45 °C for min to produce crystalline nanocellulose. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) chemical composition analysis confirmed removal noncellulosic constituents. The crystallinity index increased...
Date palm and cashew shell wastes are abundant byproducts of the agriculture industry in UAE, but they often underutilized not adequately managed, resulting environmental problems. For first time, co-pyrolysis these was studied to investigate their physicochemical properties, synergistic interaction, thermal degradation behavior, estimate kinetic thermodynamic parameters using thermogravimetric analysis with non-isothermal heating rates from 20 800 °C a rate 10 °C/min. The Coats Redfern...
Abstract Extraction of lignin via green methods is a crucial step in promoting the bioconversion lignocellulosic biomasses. In present study, utilisation natural deep eutectic solvent for pretreatment kenaf fibres biomass performed. Furthermore, extracted from pretreated was carried out and its comparative study with commercial studied. The characterized investigated through Infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy, X-ray Diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, UV–Vis scanning electron...
Polysaccharides are abundant macromolecules. The study extracted date seed polysaccharides (UPS) using ultrasound-assisted deep eutectic solvent extraction to valorize seeds. UPS were subjected comprehensive characterization and evaluation of their bioactivity, prebiotic properties, potential modulate the gut microbiome. Characterization revealed UPS's heteropolysaccharide composition with galactose, mannose, fructose, glucose, galacturonic acid respectively in 66.1, 13.3, 9.9, 5.4, 5.1%....
