This paper describes the concept, technical realisation and validation of a largely data-driven method to model events with Z→ττ decays. In Z→μμ selected from proton-proton collision data recorded at √s=8 TeV ATLAS experiment LHC in 2012, Z decay muons are replaced by τ leptons simulated Zarrowττ decays level reconstructed tracks calorimeter cells. The lepton kinematics derived original muons. Thus, only well-understood boson as well detector response products obtained simulation. All other...
This note includes a measurement of the Bos decay parameters in Bs→J/ψϕ channel and B0 meson proper time width using statistics collected by ATLAS experiment Run I LHC. The first result presents CP -violating phase ϕs, Γs difference between mass eigenstates ΔΓs. second ΔΓd, which is extracted from lifetime dependence B0→J/ψKs B0→J/ψK*° decays. obtained results are ϕs = 0.098 ± 0.084(stat.) 0.040(syst.) rad. ΔΓd/Γd (-0.1 1.1(stat.) 0.9(syst.)) × 10-2.
A measurement of several properties the Bs meson, including CP-violating weak phase ϕs and mixing-induced width difference ΔΓs, is performed using decay → J/ψ(μ+μ−)ϕ(K+K−), from a dataset 4.9 fb−1 integrated luminosity collected in 2011 by ATLAS detector at LHC. The measured parameters are consistent with world average values theoretical expectations; particular within 1 σ expected value Standard Model.
We report a case of 18 year old male who presented via EMS was called for an unconscious in his car diagnosed initially with opioid overdose and later found to have carbon monoxide poisoning. The differential diagnosis poisoning is someone broad non specific, but general, can be elusive requires continued consideration. This remains true especially this initial responsiveness naloxone. It predictable that as time the preponderance relative commonality condition will decrease further...
Over the next decade of LHC operation instantaneous luminosity will reach up 7.5 times design value with over 200 interactions per bunch-crossing. This pose unprecedented challenges for ATLAS trigger system.
