Data on the prevalence of most inborn errors metabolism are still unavailable in Kazakhstan. The study aims to perform selective screening for hereditary metabolic diseases among patients aged from 1 day 18 years western Kazakhstan using LC-MS/MS method, with establishing reference values content amino acids, acylcarnitines, and succinylacetone blood samples healthy children. Tasks: 1. To assess burden disorders detected by examination children at clinical risk pediatric clinics throughout...

Objective: To assess homocysteine (Hcy) concentration in women with preeclampsia (PE).Methods: Hcy concentrations were detected by ELISA 305 pregnancies. Results: patients PE was 16.07 umol/L at 10-14 weeks as compared to 7.19 normotensive pregnancies (p < 0.0001). Optimal cutoff level for the first trimester of pregnancy >9.55 area under curve 0.859, sensitivity 91.67%, specificity 72.24%.Conclusion: Assessment serum may be used a predictor PE, highest diagnostic utility pregnancy.

Background.Nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (Nampt/visfatin/PBEF) acts both as an enzyme in the nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) synthesis pathway well extracellular hormone (eNampt).Among its effects, eNampt exerts potent pro-inflammatory effects. We have recently shown that, rats, stimulates corticosterone secretion by acting through pituitary rather than hypothalamus.Objectives.To investigate mechanism of action on adrenocorticotropic (ACTH) and chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 2...

Introduction: The study of the genetic aspects bone metabolism disorders in children is a theoretical and practical interest for pediatrics, especially according to age ethnic positions. There number gene polymorphisms (primarily vitamin D receptor (VDR) gene) that determine norm pathology tissue formation. Calcium absorption worsens when there no functional VDR active forms D. As result level mineralization decreases. In such lead development osteopenia.<br...

This study investigated a range of gene polymorphisms encoding IL-1, IL-6, IL-10, and TNF-α ‒308 in 100 healthy unrelated Kazakhs using real-time PCR. The findings were compared with published data on other populations. distribution genotypes was consistent the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. However, frequency cytokine observed Kazakh population showed similarities differences to neighboring ethnic groups. most noticeable Iranians, Turks, Russians, Chinese IL-10 genotypes. genotype differed...

Aim. To study the effect of oil extracts burdock root and elecampane on lipid profile in an experimental model cholesterolosis. Methods. Experiments were performed 60 white nonlinear rats, weighing 180-300 g. The extract from was administered intragastrically at a dose 2.5 ml/kg, - 1.0 ml/kg during last 30 days background cholesterol diet. After removal animals experiment levels cholesterol, triglycerides, high low density lipoproteins, phospholipids, free fatty acids determined blood serum...
