The release of heavy metals into the environment as a result industrial and agricultural activities represents one century’s most significant issues. Cobalt is hazardous metal that employed in variety industries. In this study, response surface methodology (RSM) combined with Box–Behnken design (BBD) was utilized to optimize Co(II) ion removal from synthetic wastewater by brown macroalga Padina pavonica. influence three factors, namely algal inoculum size, pH, initial concentration, assessed...

The pollution of aquatic bodies by synthetic dyes is regarded as one the most significant environmental issues, which has prompted greater research into effective and sustainable removal techniques. Even though there have been major efforts in previous few decades, more study still necessary to fully examine long-term performance usable applicability adsorbents different adsorption techniques for dye. In present study, a brown marine macroalga Sargassum muticum was used an biosorbent crystal...

Abstract In this study, Nostoc commune (cyanobacterium) was used as an inexpensive and efficient biosorbent for Cd(II) Zn(II) removal from aqueous solutions. The effect of various physicochemical factors on biosorption such pH 2.0–7.0, initial metal concentration 0.0–300 mg/L contact time 0–120 min were studied. Optimum 6.0, while the 30 at room temperature. nature ion interaction evaluated by infrared (IR) technique. IR analysis bacterial biomass revealed presence amino, carboxyl, hydroxyl,...

Due to their low cost and ability synthesize lipids for sustainable biodiesel production, oleaginous fungus has recently gained more prominence than other microorganisms. The new Aspergillus carneus OQ275240’s dry biomass, lipid content, yield were all optimized in this work, using the response surface methodology-based Box–Behnken design. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) was also used examine experimental data, multiple regression analysis fit data a second-order polynomial equation. Three...

Epicoccum purpurascens stain 5615 AUMC was investigated for its biocontrol activity against root rot disease caused by Pythium irregulare.E. greenhouse pathogenicity tests using three leguminous plants indicated that the fungus nonpathogenic under test conditions. The germination rate of species legume seeds treated with a E. homogenate increased significantly compared infested P. irregulare. No symptoms were observed on purpurascens, and seedlings appeared more vigorous when non-treated...

The antimicrobial activity of donkey milk was examined against 3 bacterial and fungal strains selected on the basis their relevance as human pathogens. All samples exhibited dermatomycotic fungi foodborne pathogen bacteria. highest recorded <i>Trichophyton mentagrophytes</i> <i>T. rubrum</i> with minimal lethal concentration 32 mg/ml. In respect to pathogenic bacteria, Gram- positive bacteria (<i>Bacillus cereus Staphylococcus aureus</i>) were more sensitive than Gram-negative (<i>E....

Abstract The current study has been designed to investigate the possible biodegradtion of native keratin by fungi isolated from chicken feathers collected farms in Egypt. Out 56 fungal isolates 23 species and 2 varieties showed different degrees keratinolytic activity, with Chrysosporium tropicum showing highest keratinase productivity (23.15 U/ml) as well value specific activity for (197.90 U/mg protein) indicating a great degree purity enzyme. Our present indicates that production C. was...

ORTY-NINE species and two varieties belonging to 22 genera were recovered on dextrose 1% crude oil Czapek's agar media from 48 soil samples polluted with mazot solar. The hydrocarbons soils collected three governorates in Upper Egypt; namely El-Minya, Assiut Sohag (8 each governorate for hydrocarbon). most common genus was Aspergillus which isolated the both hydrocarbon soils, fumigatus while flavus, terreus solar soils. Forty fungal isolates tested their ability utilize medium at 28 ±1oC....

This article aims to provide an alternative scientific interpretation for verse 35 in Surat An-Nur. addresses the very famous simile Quran which describes light of Allah. In this Allah mentioned that ꞌAllah (is the) (of) heavens and earth.
