This work addresses the need for chemical tools that can selectively form cross-links. Contemporary thiol-selective cross-linkers, example, modify all accessible thiols, but only cross-links between a subset. The resulting terminal "dead-end" modifications of lone thiols are toxic, confound cross-linking-based studies macromolecular structure, and an undesired, currently unavoidable, byproduct in polymer synthesis. Using thiol pair Cu/Zn-superoxide dismutase (SOD1), we demonstrated cyclic...

ZnO films with a c-axis significantly inclined away from the surface normal were grown by remote plasma sputtering technique at room temperature. The used to make solidly mounted resonators (SMRs) operating in shear mode resonant frequency of 1.35 GHz. Control microstructure was achieved using polycrystalline AlN seed layer which can be added on top sputtered acoustic mirror give complete SMR device. reactively an atmosphere argon and oxygen zinc target. estimated angle ∼45° normal. Many countries have a rapidly ageing population, placing strain on health services and creating growing market for assistive technology older people. We have, through student-led, 12-week project 10 students from variety of science engineering backgrounds, developed an integrated sensor system to enable people, or those at risk, live independently in their own homes longer, while providing reassurance family carers. provide details the design procedure performance our management execution...
