Abstract. In order to reconstruct the temperature of North Greenland Ice Core Project (NGRIP) site, new measurements δ15N have been performed covering time period from beginning Holocene Dansgaard–Oeschger (DO) event 8. Together with previously measured and mostly published data, we present for first a NGRIP reconstruction whole last glacial 10 120 kyr b2k (thousand years before 2000 AD) including every DO based on isotope combined firn densification heat diffusion model. The detected rises...

Abstract. A stratigraphy-based chronology for the North Greenland Eemian Ice Drilling (NEEM) ice core has been derived by transferring annual layer counted Core Chronology 2005 (GICC05) and its model extension (GICC05modelext) from NGRIP to NEEM using 787 match points of mainly volcanic origin identified in electrical conductivity measurement (ECM) dielectrical profiling (DEP) records. Tephra horizons found both cores are used test matching based on ECM DEP provide five additional timescale...

Abstract. Water stable isotopes in Greenland ice core data provide key paleoclimatic information, and have been compared with precipitation isotopic composition simulated by isotopically enabled atmospheric models. However, post-depositional processes linked snow metamorphism remain poorly documented. For this purpose, monitoring of the (δ18O, δD) near-surface water vapor, samples top (0.5 cm) surface has conducted during two summers (2011–2012) at NEEM, NW Greenland. The also include a...

Abstract. Air and water stable isotope measurements from four Greenland deep ice cores (GRIP, GISP2, NGRIP NEEM) are investigated over a series of Dansgaard–Oeschger events (DO 8, 9 10), which representative glacial millennial scale variability. Combined with firn modeling, air data allow us to quantify abrupt temperature increases for each drill site (1σ = 0.6 °C NEEM, GRIP 1.5 NGRIP). Our show that the magnitude stadial–interstadial increase is up 2 larger in central North than northwest...

Abstract. Glacial climate was characterised by two types of abrupt events. Greenland ice cores record Dansgaard–Oeschger events, marked warming in-between cold, stadial phases. Six these stadials appear related to major Heinrich events (HEs), identified from ice-rafted debris (IRD) and large excursions in carbon- oxygen-stable isotopic ratios North Atlantic deep sea sediments, documenting sheet collapse This finding has led the paradigm that glacial cold are induced response Meridional...

Research is being carried out to diversify the sources of n-3 fatty acid-rich lipids for animal feed. In this study, 3 batches 12 pigs with between 50 and 105 kg live weight, received isolipidic diets containing either palm oil (PO), or rapeseed (CO), hemp (HO) (providing respectively 0.6; 1.9 3.4 g C18:3 (ALA) /kg feed). The quantity ALA deposited in meat higher (p< 0.001) HO pigs. Hemp may be an interesting source improve nutritional quality pork.

The aim of this study was to increase the n-3 fatty acid (n-3 FA) content eggs without affecting their sensorial and/or technological properties or laying performance hens. Laying hens from line 477 were divided into 5 groups corresponding different diets over period: control diet (C) and containing extruded linseed with a high level fibre (ELHF), low (ELLF), microalgae, combination 75% ELLF 25% MA (ELLF+MA). Abstract. A~recent coherent chronology has been built for 4 Antarctic ice cores and the NorthGRIP (NGRIP) Greenland core (Antarctic Ice Core Chronology 2012, AICC2012) using a bayesian approach dating (Datice). When building AICC2012 chronology, in order to prevent any confusion with official it imposed that NGRIP should respect exactly GICC05 based on layer counting. However, such strong tuning did not satisfy hypothesis of independence background parameters observations as required by...
