Introduction: Current scientific developments seem to allow for an “olfactory implant” in analogy cochlear implants. However, the position and surgical approaches electrical stimulation of olfactory system are unclear. Methods: In a human anatomic cadaver study, we investigated different endoscopic electrically stimulate bulb (OB) based on following considerations: (1) stimulating electrode should be close OB. (2) The procedure as non-invasive safe possible (3) easy experienced ENT surgeon....
Introduction:Rhinitis is a condition associated with an inflammatory response.Non-Allergic Rhinitis (NAR) describes syndrome of chronic symptoms nasal congestion and rhinorrhea, unrelated to specific allergen. Objective:Our study about new method rhinitis therapy Kinetic Oscillation Stimulation (K.O.S.).The aim the evaluate response after treatment K.O.S. in various groups vasomotor rhinitis. Methods: All patients underwent period suspension from topical systemic steroid any other kind for...
Introduction Technological achievements allow an "olfactory implant" to come into the near future. In particular, stimulation in area of olfactory bulb seems be promising for this purpose. However, surgical approach electrical system is unclear.
