The survivability related to hardware failures for the SDH network is analysed. We give features of failure 2-fiber and 4-fiber bidirectional self-healing ring (BSHR/2 BSHR/4). With an assumption traffic pattern, models single-ring multiple-rings are established, analysis carried out with these models.
