Abstract Piezoelectric transducers which rely on oscillating cantilever-type beams to harvest mechanical energy locally available in environments have been of great interest as a substitute for batteries. Most the research efforts focus mostly designs aim at resonance matching achieve maximum output without taking degradation piezoelectric layers into consideration. The purpose this study is propose an harvesting design maximizes power long run. Unimorph cantilevers, neutral axis located...

In this work, we present the impact of using Na2CO3 as a sintering aid and grain growth agent on crystal structure, microstructure, piezoelectric properties (Bi0.5Na0.5)TiO3 ceramics. The addition leads to substantial increase in size density even at reduced temperature 1025 °C. However, same time, value constant d33 drops dramatically. Using high-resolution x-ray diffraction analysis, demonstrate that decrease is due change chemical composition base material rather than size. High...
