Abstract Through the magnetic/thermal transport measurements combined with analyses of magnetocaloric effect and critical behavior Co 3 Sn 2 S single crystal, main results we obtained are as follows: in case magnetic field H // c ‐axis, exhibits phase‐separation state below T low‐field region ( < 500 Oe). increases slightly from 174 to 177 K an increase 100 10 kOe. The second‐order phase transition near itinerant ferromagnetism identified. magnetization matches well three‐dimensional...

In this work, one-dimensional (1D) and heavily doped Zn1−xCoxO (x = 0.05, 0.1, 0.15 0.2) nanorods (NRs) were successfully fabricated by a new solvothermal method. Such nanorod exhibits hexagonal prism-like microcrystal with pyramidal top. Analyses from transmission electron microscopy (TEM) high-resolution (HRTEM) indicated that NRs possess perfect single crystal wurtzite structures. The influence of Co doping on the structural, optical magnetic properties was investigated in detail. It...

The effect of solid solution treatment on semisolid microstructure a Zn alloy ZA27 with developed dendrites was investigated and new approach to produce non-dendritic available for thixoforming developed. results indicated that small spherical primary particles could be obtained when the treated 3 h at 370°C then partially remelted temperature 460°C. This method not only overcome some inevitable shortcomings resulting from using present popular approaches, but also simplify procedure...

We studied the efficiency of maintaining and restoring cytoplasmic male sterility (CMS) systems in pepper (Capsicum annuum L.).An Rf-linked molecular marker was employed to analyze interaction between 6 CMS lines (A), 5 maintainers (B), restorers (C).Sterility maintained matings 201A x 200B, 203A 206A 200A 201B, 202B, 203B, 206B, 206B.All restored fertility 200A, 202A, 203A, 204A, except that 213C could not restore 204A.However, had diverse abilities individual lines. The amplified by PCR...

Highly monochromatic circularly polarized soft x‐rays are obtained by a simple adaptation of the AT&T Bell Laboratories Dragon beamline to collect synchrotron radiation above an below storage ring orbit plane. This is demonstrated observation large magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) effect at L2,3 absorption edges ferromagnetic Fe, Co, and Ni. Photoabsorption measurements on ferrites with spinel garnet structure also presented, used show that MCD allow determine presence orientation moments...

Yttrium aluminium garnet (YAG):Ce 3+ nanoparticles have been synthesised by the supercritical hydrothermal method at 390 °C in a series of reaction times 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 h, respectively, characterised X‐ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, (high resolution) transmission microscopy several measurements fluorescence properties. The single‐phase YAG:Ce can be obtained much lower temperature (390 °C) means with inexpensive raw materials simple processing conditions than...
