ABSTRACT Liaoning Province, a major grain production base in China, has faced increasingly frequent extreme drought events under global climate change, impacting local economic and social sustainability. Effective prevention requires comprehensive risk assessments. However, existing assessment studies often suffer from low spatial resolution limited integration of geographic big data. This study integrates multi-source data, using 10 indicators across risk, vulnerability, exposure...
ABSTRACT Peak discharge is an essential element of hydrological forecasting. Due to rapid outbreaks flash floods in hilly areas and the lack measured data, fast accurate estimation peak crucial for flood hazard management. Three machine learning algorithms were applied estimate discharge; this was compared with results hydrological–hydraulic models, verified watershed data. In paper, 10 geomorphological parameters selected predict 103 watersheds Taiyi Mountain North District. The show that...
Abstract To study the evolution rules and behaviors of heat transport in a sandstone geothermal reservoir caused by cooled water reinjection, this research focuses on quantitative relationship among reinjection parameters thermal breakthrough time production wells. The permeation, tracer, tests were conducted simulation model using large sand tank conjunction with numerical method based COMSOL Multiphysics. Subsequently, sensitivity analysis nonlinear fitting performed to investigate effects...
ABSTRACT Global warming has increased the risk of meteorological drought and associated hazards. Based on daily data from 35 stations in Songhua River Basin (SRB) collected 1960 to 2019, this study applied standardised precipitation evapotranspiration index (SPEI) used ensemble empirical mode decomposition (EEMD) method Pettitt's mutation test perform a partitioned segmentation analysis multi-temporal spatial variations droughts affecting basin terms frequency intensity, discussed...
With the development of deepwater drilling, geohazards have become a challenge. Shallow water flow (SWF) is one type most serious in drilling. SWF hazards are only met regions and sands properties low density, velocity high V(p)/V(s). Based on theory Sequence Stratigraphy, channel depositional system was identified Baiyun depression, Pearl River Basin. result AVA inversion, fullwave inversion poststack region with V(P)/V(S)(>9) value were refined which may happen.
