Based on the backlight module (BLM) with an integrated micro-optical light guide plate (MOLGP) that we proposed [Opt. Express21, 20159 (2013)], optical model maps relationship between distribution of microprisms bottom surface MOLGP and luminance output is established by a backpropagation neural network in this paper. Then optimized for high uniformity obtained genetic algorithm. Finally, BLM set up software, simulation results show reaches 93%.
