Salinity stress enhances reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation by activating the transcription of NADPH oxidase genes such as RbohD, thus mediating plant developmental processes, including seed germination. However, how salinity triggers expression ROS-metabolism-related and represses germination has not yet been fully addressed. In this study, we show that Abscisic Acid-Insensitive 4 (ABI4), a key component in abscisic acid (ABA) signaling, directly combines with RbohD Vitamin C...

In this paper, the authors present their efforts in exploring a new type of traffic data, referred to as internet-connected vehicle (ICV) for congestion management and operational planning. Most currently manufactured vehicles contain onboard GPS cellular modules, they constantly connect automobile manufacturers' clouds via networks upload status. Some manufacturers have recently redistributed nonpersonal part such geolocation, third-party organizations innovative applications. Compared with...

Muscular fatty infiltration is a common and troublesome pathology after rotator cuff tears (RCT), which mainly derives from fibro-adipogenic progenitors (FAPs). Compared to the RCT, not so severe in Achilles tendon (ATT). The knowledge of why more likely occur RCT limited. In this study, was verified supraspinatus than gastrocnemius muscles injury. Additionally, we revealed higher adipogenic differentiation ability RCT-FAPs vitro. Activation Akt significantly stimulated GSK-3β/β-catenin...

Abstract This paper presents the gamification of transportation engineering education. We identified what authors deemed to be key hard concepts in taught course and designed five web‐games targeting areas within engineering. The developed games were tested with undergraduate students. results show that can enhance students’ understanding concepts.

Aircraft wake vortices are serious threats to aviation safety. The Pulsed Coherent Doppler Lidar (PCDL) has been widely used in the observation of aircraft due its advantages high spatial-temporal resolution and precision. However, post-processing algorithms require significant computing resources, which cannot achieve real-time detection a vortex (WV). This paper presents an improved Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method for WV locating grading based on PCDL data avoid influence...
