Anatase nanoparticles were obtained through a modified sol–gel route from titanium isopropoxide with acetic acid in order to control hydrolysis and condensation reactions. The modification of Ti(OiPr)4 reduces the availability groups that hydrolyze condense easily formation stable complex whose structure was determined be Ti(OCOCH3)(OiPr)2 by means FTIR 13C NMR. presence this confirmed early stages process. A doublet 1542 1440 cm−1 stands for asymmetric symmetric stretching vibrations...
This paper proposes a polaronic stacking fault defect model as the origin of huge dielectric properties in CaCu3Ti4O12 (CCTO) materials. The reconciles opposing views researchers on both sides intrinsic versus extrinsic debate about unusually high values constant measured for CCTO its various forms. Therefore, by considering phenomena, it was shown that internal barrier layer capacitance mechanism is enhanced another similar, but different nature, operates nanoscale range due to polaron...
Anatase TiO2 colloidal dispersions were obtained by hydrothermal synthesis at 200 °C from titanium isopropoxide gels modified with acetic acid in the presence of a non-ionic surfactant. Absolute ethanol, anhydrous terpineol and ethyl cellulose added to this anatase dispersion resulting 23 wt% paste. Mesoporous films for application as working electrodes dye-sensitized solar cells prepared screen-printing method, yielding reproducible thicknesses about 10 μm desired porosity levels single...
Composite materials made of epoxy resin and barium titanate (BT) electrospun nanostructured fibers were prepared. BT synthesized from a sol based on acetate, titanium isopropoxide, poly(vinyl pyrrolidone). The heat-treated at different temperatures characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Raman spectroscopy. Mats 800 °C embedded in into suitable molds. composites SEM, dielectric measurements performed means permittivity modulus resin/BT-fiber measured for two...
Hydrolysis of MOF-5 gives place to a mixture two compounds: MOF-5W and zinc terephthalate dihydrate. The analysis optical photochemical properties allows infer the preeminence ligand charge-transfer.
New ceramic electrodes outweigh typical carbonaceous materials as anodes for microbial electrocatalysis.
Emergent phenomena driven by light–matter interaction may have potential applications in next-generation domain wall nanoelectronics utilizing polycrystalline ferroelectrics.
The complete I–V characteristics of SnO 2 ‐based varistors, particularly the Pianaro system SCNCr consisting in 98.9%SnO +1%CoO+0.05%Nb O 5 +0.05%Cr 3 , all mol%, have been seldom reported literature. A comparative study at low and high currents nonohmic behavior SCNCr‐ ZnO‐based varistors (modified Matsuoka system) is proposed this work. showed higher nonlinearity coefficients whole range measured current. electrical breakdown field ( E b ) was twice as for (5400 V/cm) than ZnO varistor...
Results on the characterization of photoluminescent CaCu 3 Ti 4 O 12 ‐based films, prepared from a sol–gel precursor and heat treated at 700°C, are reported for first time. The samples showed two emission bands 554 800 nm when excited with 488 Ar‐ion laser. measured room temperature in thin films was attributed to complex vacancy clusters. consisted traces TiO 2 , CuO, CaTiO porous structures an average particle size 50 under atomic force microscopy resolution.
