The discovery that mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) secrete SOD3 may help explain studies in which MSCs have direct antioxidant activities both vivo and vitro. is an enzyme dismutes toxic free radicals produced during inflammatory processes. Therefore, MSC production secretion of active therapeutically significant levels would further support the use as a cellular based therapy. aim this study was therefore to investigate vitro if differentiation down adipogenic, chondrogenic, osteogenic...

Longitudinally extensive transverse myelitis (LETM) is a neurological condition characterised by contiguous inflammatory lesion of the spinal cord. LETM often associated with autoimmune central nervous system disease neuromyelitis optica (NMO) and rarely multiple sclerosis. The discovery NMO-IgG antibody, provides useful serological marker NMO spectrum (LETM and/or optic neuritis). Here, authors report two cases LETM, which differ in severity antibody status.
