We investigate the experimentally allowed parameter space of an extension standard model (SM3) by one additional family fermions. Therefore we extend our previous study CKM like mixing constraints a fourth generation quarks. In addition to bounds from tree-level determinations 3$\times$3 elements and FCNC processes ($K$-, $D$-, $B_d$-, $B_s$-mixing decay $b \to s \gamma$) also electroweak $S$, $T$, $U$ parameters, angle $\gamma$ unitarity triangle rare $B_s \mu^+ \mu^-$. Moreover improve...

We perform an exploratory study of the allowed parameter range for CKM-like mixing hypothetical quarks a fourth generation. As experimental constraints we use tree-level determinations 3 $\times$ CKM elements and FCNC processes ($K$-, $D$-, $B_d$-, $B_s$-mixing decay $b \to s \gamma$) under assumption that 4 matrix is unitary. For FCNCs some simplifying assumptions concerning QCD corrections. Typically small with family favoured, but contrary to expectation find also quite large 4th not yet excluded.

We report on the first lattice calculation of light-cone distribution amplitudes ${N}^{*}(1535)$ resonance, which are used to calculate transition form factors at large momentum transfers using sum rules. In region ${Q}^{2}>2\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{GeV}}^{2}$, where expansion is expected converge, results appear be in good agreement with experimental data.

We perform a comprehensive study of charged lepton flavour violation in Randall–Sundrum (RS) models fully 5D quantum-field-theoretical framework. consider the RS model with minimal field content and "custodially protected" extension as well three implementations IR-brane localized Higgs field, including non-decoupling effect KK excitations narrow bulk Higgs. Our calculation provides first complete result for flavour-violating electromagnetic dipole operator models. It contains contributions...

We examine the radiative $\ensuremath{\Delta}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}N$ transition at real photon point ${Q}^{2}=0$ using framework of light-cone QCD sum rules. In particular, rules for form factors ${G}_{M}(0)$ and ${R}_{EM}$ are determined up to twist 4. The result agrees with experiment within 10% accuracy. agreement is also reasonable. addition, we derive new magnetic moments nucleons, a complete account twist-4 corrections based on recent reanalysis distribution amplitudes.

We describe the computation of one-loop muon anomalous magnetic moment and radiative penguin transitions in minimal custodially protected Randall-Sundrum model. A fully five-dimensional (5D) framework is employed to match 5D theory onto Standard Model extended by dimension-six operators. The additional contribution from gauge-boson exchange contributions Delta a_mu \approx 8.8 (27.2) x 10^(-11) (1 TeV/T)^2, where first (second) number refers (custodially-protected) Here $1/T$ denotes...

We study the decay $\bar B\to X_s\gamma$ in Randall-Sundrum models with an IR-localised bulk Higgs. The two under consideration are a minimal model as well custodial protection mechanism. include effects of tree- and one-loop diagrams involving 5D gluon Higgs exchanges QCD corrections arising from evolution Kaluza-Klein scale to typical decay. find RS branching fraction can be sizeable for large Yukawas moderate KK scales $T$; small contribution is enough invisible current experimental data.

We reconsider the leading HQE contributions to absorptive part of mixing amplitude neutral $D$ mesons by taking also $α_s$ corrections and subleading $1/m_c$ into account. show that these $Γ_{12}$ do not vanish in exact SU(3)$_F$ limit they can have a large phase. Moreover, we give an example new physics model enhance terms $Γ_{12}$, which are orders magnitude lower than current experimental expectation, factor upper double-digit range.

The CKM matrix elements $V_{td}$, $V_{ts}$ and $V_{tb}$, while notoriously hard to measure directly in experiment, can be determined great precision within the Standard Model (SM) with a minimal set of observables due unitarity $V_{\rm CKM}$. We discuss potential modifications these extensions non-unitary quark mixing matrices.
