High cost, low crystallinity, and low-melt strength limit the market application of biodegradable material poly (butylene adipate-co-terephthalate) (PBAT), which has become a major obstacle to promotion PBAT products. Herein, with as resin matrix calcium carbonate (CaCO3) filler, PBAT/CaCO3 composite films were designed prepared twin-screw extruder single-screw extrusion blow-molding machine designed, effects particle size (1250 mesh, 2000 mesh), content (0–36%) titanate coupling agent (TC)...
In order to improve the thermoelectric properties of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs), bilayer-like structures graphene quantum dots (GQDs) and SWCNTs films (b-GQDs/SWCNTs) were prepared by directly coating GQDs on surface films. Compared pristine SWCNT (p-SWCNTs), electrical conductivity b-GQDs/SWCNTs increased while their Seebeck coefficient decreased. The special interface structure can not only carrier transport increase but also scatter phonons reduce thermal conductivity. A...
Abstract The utilization of gold tailings and bentonite as raw materials for prepared foamed ceramic was studied. effects boric acid titanium dioxide content on the properties microstructures were studied from aspects bulk density, compressive strength, bending phase composition, micromorphology. These results show that synergistic effect leads to crystallization quartz, which enhanced strength decreased thermal conductivity ceramics, while density increases gradually with addition dioxide....
Applying sewage sludge ash (SSA) to produce reclaimed tiles is a promising recycling technology in resolving the increasing wastes from wastewater treatment. However, performance of such inferior that original ceramic tiles. Many researchers have therefore tried adding various industrial by-products improve tile properties. In this study, multiple materials including waste glass and foundry sand (WFS) were added an attempt physical mechanical properties with SSA. Samples combinations clay,...
Abstract In this study, a novel biodegradable coir fiber (CF) reinforced thermoplastic starch (TPS) and poly(butylene adipate‐ co ‐terephthalate) (PBAT) composites (CF/TPS/PBAT) with constant TPS: PBAT weight ratio of 70:30 5, 10, 15, 20 wt% additions CF were prepared by the melt blending injection molding. The effects content surface modification on mechanical thermal properties biocomposites investigated. incorporation fibers effectively enhanced TPS/PBAT blends. Due to removal...
