Rational structure design benefits the development of efficient nanoplatforms for tumor theranostic application. In this work, a multifunctional polydopamine (PDA)-coated manganese sulfide (MnS) nanocluster was prepared. The polyhydroxy PDA enhanced water interaction with pH-responsive MnS nanoclusters via hydrogen bonds. At pH 5.5 conditions, spin–lattice relaxation rate dramatically increased from 5.76 to 19.33 mM–1·s–1 after coating, which can be beneficial magnetic resonance imaging....

The computed tomography angiography (CTA) postprocessing manually recognized by technologists is extremely labor intensive and error prone. We propose an artificial intelligence reconstruction system supported optimized physiological anatomical-based 3D convolutional neural network that can automatically achieve CTA in healthcare services. This trained tested with 18,766 head neck scans from 5 tertiary hospitals China collected between June 2017 November 2018. overall accuracy of the...

Background Studies have rarely investigated stenosis detection from head and neck CT angiography scans because accurate interpretation is time consuming labor intensive. Purpose To develop an automated convolutional neural network–based method for plaque classification in images compare its performance with that of radiologists. Materials Methods A deep learning (DL) algorithm was constructed trained use were collected retrospectively four tertiary hospitals between March 2020 July 2021....

Abstract Under normal conditions, insulin promotes hepatic de novo lipogenesis (DNL). However, during resistance (IR), when signalling is blunted and accompanied by hyperinsulinaemia, the promotion of DNL continues unabated steatosis increases. Here, we show that WD40 repeat-containing protein 6 (WDR6) IR. Mechanistically, WDR6 interacts with beta-type catalytic subunit serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 1 (PPP1CB) to facilitate PPP1CB dephosphorylation at Thr316, which subsequently...

Abstract Aldehyde dehydrogenase 3A1 (ALDH3A1) is an NAD + -dependent enzyme that closely related to tumor development. However, its role in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has not been elucidated. This study aimed clarify the mechanism of ALDH3A1 and identify potential therapeutic targets for NSCLC. Here, first time, we found expression could be induced by a hypoxic environment was highly expressed NSCLC tissue, especially some late-stage patients, associated with poor prognosis. In...

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of non-protein-coding small RNAs with the capacity to regulate fundamental biological processes essential for cancer initiation and progression. In present study, we analyzed miRNA expression levels between multidrug-resistant gastric carcinoma cell line SGC7901/ADR its parent SGC7901 using microarray. MiR-103/107 was downregulated compared parental cells. Overexpression miR-103/107 sensitized cells doxorubicin (DOX), as demonstrated by in vitro vivo drug...
