Abstract A simple, rapid, and low‐cost method for preparation of Co 3 O 4 nanoparticles (Co ‐1 ‐2) using solid‐state calcination mixture Co(NO ) 2 ∙6H salicylic acid (1:1 weight ratio) at two different temperatures 500 600°C is reported.
