This paper presents an H∞ controller synthesis method for piecewise linear systems based on a smooth Lyapunov function.It is shown that the closed loop system globally stable with guaranteed disturbance attenuation performance and control law can be obtained by solving set of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMI) numerically feasible commercially available software.A simulation example presented to demonstrate proposed method.
