In this letter, a wideband, compact magnetoelectric (ME) dipole antenna with low profile is proposed. By folding the radiating arms, overall height of significantly reduced. Additionally, Unequal-Arms technique introduced to widen bandwidth by adding more resonant points. A novel mixed Γ-type feeding structure, which embedded in PCB metal promote impedance matching and assembly, improve stability structure reduce production cost. properly design, folded can achieve both good matching....
This article presents a reconfigurable millimeter-wave (mm-wave) dual-polarized antenna array system featuring wide-range continuous beamwidth control (WCBC) using the polarization-mixing method. By simultaneously exciting dual polarizations, achieves wider beams, with continuously adjustable ranging from 21° to 100°. Additionally, retains its original beam scanning capabilities when two polarizations separately. Importantly, ability in flexible and wide tuning is accomplished only phase...
This letter introduces a novel four-arm planar spiral antenna which provides perfect circular polarization radiation for Global Navigation Satellite System applications. The mainly consists of four parts: an Archimedes area, impedance matching area composed appropriately sized metal coupling disc and quasi-coaxial structures, wideband four-output-ports feed network with equal magnitude consistent 90° phase shift, set chokes unequal height. structures are used as transformer to provide...
In this paper, a single-antenna full-duplex subsystem is proposed, consisting of high isolation network and stacked patch antenna with reflector. The employed fed by two ports very similar input impedances to make the reflected signals identical. composed hybrids circulators plays crucial part in achieving transmitting receiving (Tx-Rx) isolation. It able cancel out inevitable from leakage circulators. theoretical analysis presented also fabricated measured. According measurement results,...
This paper presents the design of a novel multi-beam Luneburg lens antenna with specific dielectric structure and proposes new solution for downsizing planar antennas. The quasi-conformal transformation optics (QCTO) principle is applied to achieve an equivalent relation between spatial coordinate electromagnetic properties material, effectively preserving behavior waves while achieving significant reduction in size. comprises deformed radius <inline-formula...
This communication introduces a novel polarization-mixing strategy to significantly widen the beamwidth of dual-linear-polarized antenna arrays without changing array topology. Instead using two polarizations separately as usual, it blends orthogonal linearly-polarized radiations achieve wider beamwidth. The proposed method is implemented on typical ±45°-polarized base station with its thought process and working mechanism elaborated. Much achieved compared traditional pattern synthesis...
With an increasing number of the offshore oil and gas fixed platforms, traffic environment is becoming more complicated, which will have a negative impact on safety both platforms ships around. Considering operation method platform, ship’s motion when being not under command, safe distance between platform ships’ customary routes determined according to big frequent ship type sailing in routes. The calculation result provides basis for site selection keeping passing by water
Haptics is a new and important interaction method for virtual reality. As an haptic device, force feedback device can improve the reality of interactive operation. In this paper, interface (OpenHaptics) fully analyzed. Physical models are constructed with physical attributes such as friction, stiffness, inertia gravity added. The principle simulated properties discussed in detail. by described. Taking reducer example using Visual Studio 2008 development platform, combined OpenHaptics...
Abstract The authors present a wideband circularly polarised antenna array consisting of 10‐element ellipse dipole and feed network. A metal pillar is vertically loaded at the end each arm to extend current path, thereby reducing lateral dimension element. For uniform coverage over Earth's surface, with an isoflux pattern required due its power density wide area. To obtain characteristics, amplitude phase distributions along network are optimised by applying hybrid genetic algorithm particle...
This paper introduces a polarization-mixing strategy to significantly widen the beamwidth of typical ±45°-polarized base station antenna array. Without changing array topology, originally narrow is enhanced by mixing two orthogonally polarized radiations. Compared traditional pattern synthesis methods, proposed method can have much wider and does not need amplitude weighting. The leads spatially-variable-polarization (SVP), i.e., has different polarizations at directions. To guarantee...
In this paper, a broadband high-performance UHF frequency band tag antenna based on miniaturization technology is proposed. The current path the dipole has been changed to achieve of antenna, finally enhance antenna's bending resistance. two arms extending from tapered area near feed point are tuned with metal copper pillar, which allows bandwidth be widened. method widening greatly improves anti – medium ability antenna. final 2.03dBi gain in 902Mhz $\sim 928$ Mhz, and 66%...
In this paper, the design and simulation of a low sidelobe multi-beam antenna are described. Slot-coupled microstrip antennas used as array elements. The feeding circuit consists T-type unequal power divider Rotman lens. characteristic (≤−23dB) non-scanning beam is realized by using divider. Combining principle linear phased with lens design, miniaturization network realized, can generate three beams in 5.3-5.9 GHz band.
