Abstract The parallel measurements of wavelength dependent optical absorption, particle number size distribution have made by a multi photoacoustic spectrometer (4λ-PAS) and scanning mobility sizer (SMPS) respectively at different modes diesel engine using two types fuel. thermal evolution the emission was also investigated posterior temperature treatment emission. bimodal emitted particles set reference has been observed regardless applied fuel idle. However, particulate assembly had...
Grazing incidence nuclear multilayer diffraction of synchrotron radiation from a periodic stack alternating Fe56 and Fe57 layers was observed. Resonant layer fraction, substrate size, flatness, surface roughness limits were optimized by previous simulations. The isotopic (ML) sample float glass/Fe57(2.25 nm)/[Fe56(2.25 nm)/Fe57(2.25 nm)]×15/Al(9.0 nm) nominal composition prepared molecular beam epitaxy at room temperature. Purity structure lateral homogenity the ML film characterized...
The domain structure of an antiferromagnetic superlattice is studied. Synchrotron Mössbauer and polarized neutron reflectometric maps show micrometer-size primary formation as the external field decreases from saturation to remanence. A secondary state consisting mainly at least 1 order magnitude larger domains created when a small along layer magnetizations induces bulk-spin-flop transition. domain-size distribution reproducibly dependent on magnetic prehistory. condition for coarsening...
The setup, capabilities, and operation parameters of the neutron reflectometer GINA, recently installed “Grazing Incidence Neutron Apparatus” at Budapest Centre, are introduced. a dance-floor-type, constant-energy, angle-dispersive is equipped with 2D position-sensitive detector to study specular off-specular scattering. Wavelength options between 3.2 5.7 Å available for unpolarized polarized neutrons. Spin polarization analysis achieved by magnetized transmission supermirrors...
The theory of both transmission and grazing incidence M\"ossbauer spectroscopy is reanalyzed. Starting with the nuclear susceptibility tensor a common concise first-order perturbation formulation given by introducing forward-scattering amplitude into an anisotropic optical scheme. Formulas Blume Kistner as well those Andreeva are rederived for geometries, respectively. Limitations several previously intuitively introduced approximations pointed out. integral propagation matrices written in...
Cloud service providers offer a huge variety of schema-less NoSQL data storage solutions. The flexibility these stores greater freedom in structuring the than relational databases. However, it would be desirable to make use strong mathematical background structures. In this paper, we introduce an automatic schema optimization that uses normalized as starting point. We analyze predefined set queries, and compile can serve queries with minimal cost at certain query load. introduced process is...
Iron-rhodium thin films are in the center of scientific interest due to their great potential spintronic, energy harvesting and other forthcoming applications. The structural stability these materials industrial applications relies heavily on ability withstand temperature variations, therefore it is crucial gain a thorough understanding diffusion processes induced by temperature. To investigate self-diffusion iron FeRh, an isotope-periodic multilayer structure [nFe50.5Rh49.5(63...
Theoretical description of off-specular grazing-incidence nuclear resonant scattering synchrotron radiation (Synchrotron M\"{o}ssbauer Reflectometry, SMR) is presented. The recently developed SMR, similarly to polarized neutron reflectometry (PNR), an analytical tool for the determination isotopic and magnetic structure thin films multilayers. It combines sensitivity spectroscopy hyperfine interactions depth selectivity x-ray reflectometry. Specular reflection provides information on...
Reciprocity is when the scattering amplitude of wave propagation satisfies a symmetry property, connecting process with an appropriate reversed one. We report on experiment using nuclear resonance synchrotron radiation, which demonstrates that magneto-optical materials do not necessarily violate reciprocity. The setting enables us to switch easily between reciprocity and its violation. In latter case, exhibited violation orders magnitude larger than achieved by previous experiments.
