Epigenetic regulation of vascular remodeling in pulmonary hypertension (PH) is poorly understood. Transcription regulating, histone acetylation code alters chromatin accessibility to promote transcriptional activation. Our goal was identify upstream mechanisms that disrupt epigenetic equilibrium PH.
Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) is a terminal disease characterized by severe pulmonary vascular remodeling. Unfortunately, targeted therapy to prevent progression limited. Here, the cell populations that contribute molecular and morphological changes of PH in conjunction with current animal models for studying remodeling will be examined. The status quo epigenetic targeting treating different subtypes dissected, while parallel threads between hypertension pathogenic cancer provide insight into...
Abstract Background Light chain cardiac amyloidosis (AL-CA) results in restrictive cardiomyopathy associated with progressive heart failure and poor survival. Traditionally, outcomes following transplantation patients AL-CA have been worse than other cohorts consequently, many centres do not offer this population transplantation. Purpose Methods This was a retrospective observational study of 18 (age 52.7years +/- 8.3, male 66%) referred to our centre the UK for assessment from 2008 2023....
