The phosphoric ester designed in this manuscript not only enhances the mechanical properties of acrylic-epoxy hybrid coatings but also, through chelation with metal, significantly improves coating's corrosion resistance.

In this paper, two series of poly(sulfobetaine methacrylate)-b-poly(lauryl methacrylate) (PSBMA-b-PLMA) diblock copolymers were prepared to investigate the core–shell reversion amphiphilic copolymers. Experimental results proved that PSBMA-b-PLMA can be self-assembled as nanoparticles in chloroform.
