Non-alcoholic metabolic-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) is a condition characterized by increasingly high prevalence and incidence, also represents an important unmet medical need when it comes to effective pharmacotherapy. In this work, we aimed explore the therapeutic possibilities of synergistic combined use glycyrrhizinic acid (GA) phosphatidylcholine (PC) prevent experimental MASH. Adult C57Bl/6 mice were used model dietary/toxic MASH treated orally either GA (34.3 mg/kg/d) or + PC...

Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) is a common complication of antineoplastic chemotherapy. In large number patients, this highly persistent to treatment. The present review focused on current rodent CIPN models using agents different groups.

The present study was aimed at exploring the pathomorphological changes in liver and skeletal muscle tissue C57Bl/Ks-db + / m (db/db) mice of different ages. conducted female db/db aged 3 (n=7) or 7 months (n=5). According to results histomorphological examination, no significant differences were found between groups.

Selection of an optimal general anesthesia regimen is essential prerequisite for the conduction electrophysiological tests in laboratory animals. In this work, we compared effects two anesthetic drugs commonly used preclinical studies, i.e., chloral hydrate (CH) and tribromoethanol (TBE), on parameters neuromuscular function outbred mice. CH TBE were found to distinctly affect peripheral nerve conductivity skeletal muscle contractility recovery following electrical stimulation-induced fatigue.

The study was aimed at exploring and describing the main parameters of neuromuscular joint function in young adult leptin-resistant C57Bl/Ks-db + / m (db/db) mice. experiment carried out on 10 4-month-old male db/db mice wild-type control mice, using stimulation electroneuromyography to assess M-wave for m. gastrocnemius biceps brachii . We discovered a decrease maximal amplitudes along with an increase latency duration, indicating presence combined axonal demyelinating peripheral nerve injury.
