This paper investigated preparation process of briquette by using starch and bentonite as composite binder. It also studied the impact pulverized coal particle size, coking compacting pressures, moisture content on strength form coke. The result showed that size was main influence factor. And optimum conditions molding were follows: low rank less than 0.63mm, 0.28mm, pressure 60 kN, 12%. Under optimal conditions, compressive coke 3470 N/ball 2910 N/ball, respectively.
