Studies concerning synthesis, structure and luminescence of eight-coordinate Eu, Tb, Sm Dy complexes the type [Ln(acac)2(L)]Cl (Hacac = pentanedione-2,4 L bis(5-(pyridine-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)propane) are reported in detail. The obtained were investigated by various means including elemental- thermogravimetric analysis, IR- electron transition spectroscopy. Tb complex was determined single-crystal X-ray crystallography: is eight-coordinate, acting only as a tetradentate chelate together...
A multidentate hydrazone-type ligand (Z,Z)-bis(1-(pyridin-2-yl)-1-amino-methylidene)oxalohydrazide (H2L) was utilized in the synthesis of three new isomorphous tetranuclear complexes general formula [Ln4(HL)4(H2L)2(NO3)4](NO3)4·4CH3OH (Ln = GdIII, 1, TbIII, 2, DyIII, 3) with gridlike [2 × 2] topology. The analysis static magnetic data revealed weak anti-ferromagnetic interaction among lanthanide(III) atoms, whereas dynamic led to observation single-molecule magnet behavior zero field for Dy4...
A nine new Zn(II) complex were synthesized based on a Salen-type tetradentate N2O2 ligands derived from 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-formyl-5-pyrazolone. Complexes have been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, ESI-mass spectroscopy, elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and thermal gravimetric analysis. UV–vis, emission electrochemical studies indicated that changes of the electronic states diamine moieties are main parameter influences absorption color investigated zinc(II) complexes.
The results of studies weak spin–spin exchange interactions in binuclear copper(II) complexes with hydrazones based on saturated dicarbohydrazides which the coordination polyhedra are connected by polymethylene spacers generalised and systematically described.
Two bidentate pyridine-triazole ligands (3-(pyridine-2-yl)-5-phenyl-1,2,4-triazole (L1) and 5-phenyl-2-(2'-pyridyl)-7,8-benzo-6,5-dihydro-1,3,6-triazaindolizine (L2)), have been synthesized used for Ln(Dbm)3 (Ln = Sm(III), Nd(III), Yb(III) Er(III)) coordination. The structures of the resulting Sm(III) complex were determined in solid state by X-ray diffraction. title complexes characterized UV, fluorescent, IR-spectroscopy thermogravimetric elemental analyses. Photophysical studies on...
New zinc and magnesium complexes of N-(2-carboxyphenyl)salicylidenimine) were synthesized structurally characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, X-ray single-crystal analysis. These exhibit tuneable luminescence in the solid state from blue to green varying metal ion composition. Moreover, quantum yields range 0.11 0.41, while lifetimes determined be nanosecond timescale. Thermal analysis shows that these good thermal stability can therefore well used as electroluminescent materials.
Luminescent properties of two heteroleptic dibenzoylmethanate europium(III) complexes with 1,3-bis(5-pyridin-2-yl-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)propane (H2L1) and 1,4-bis(5-pyridin-2-yl-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)butane (H2L2) as ancillary ligands are described. The double-layer-type electroluminescent cells the structures: (1) ITO/NPB(40 nm)/Eu(DBM)2HL1 (40 nm)/LiF (1 nm)/Al (100 nm) (2) nm)/Eu(DBM)2HL2 emit red light originating from europium complexes. device 2 gives maximum brightness 455 cd/m2 at 19.2 V.
Synthesis and properties of new luminescent amphiphilic Tb(III) complexes [TbL3·2H2O]·3H2O, TbL3·bipy, [H3O][TbL4]·6H2O [H3O][TbL′3L]·H2O, where HL is 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-stearoylpyrazolone-5 HL′ 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-formylpyrazolone-5, are reported. The have been characterized by elemental thermal analysis, FTIR luminescence spectroscopy methods. Formation Langmuir–Blodgett films the described.
The new tetradentate ligand H2L bis(5-(pyridine-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)methane has been used to prepare corresponding Ln(III) complexes [Ln(L)(HL)H2O]·6H2O where is Tb(III), Sm(III), Eu(III), Gd(III), Nd(III). resulting were investigated by various means including elemental- and thermogravimetric analysis IR-, UV-, VIS spectroscopy. form an isostructural series in the solid state according X-ray diffraction. optimal value of triple energy sensitizes both fluorescent visible near-IR...
The reactions of bis[(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐1,2,4‐triazol‐3‐yl]methane (H 2 L) with copper(II), nickel(II), and cobalt(II) salts afford a series unusual structures; among them are the homoleptic binuclear complexes [Ni O) 4 ](NO 3 ) · 6H O ( 1 Cl ]Cl 4H 2C H 8 ), octanuclear complex 12 16 21H tetranuclear [Cu (HL) ](ClO C 5 OH 3H [Co ] (ClO 8H 6 ).
