This study conducted field measurements to explore the effects of street spatial structure on micrometeorological condition and air quality both hot cool days in Taipei City. Six canyons with an aspect ratio one, but varied orientation, width, sky view factor, number planting strips, were selected for observations. In this case study, it was observed that, as well meso-scale phenomena, local micro-scale (street canyon structure) had influences temperature, mean radiant wind velocity....
Recreation ecosystem services (RES) link closely to human well-being and might mutually benefit biodiversity conservation while well managed. However, assessing detecting the spatial matching of RES remains challenging. This study considered nature supply-side demand-side in relationship from resource, management, beneficiary perspectives. The proposed method consisted assessment overlay analysis parts. Supply Potential Accessibility were assessed resource management Demand Potential, Flow,...
Trails are important recreation settings; determining an appropriate trail usage amount to avoid unacceptable ecological impacts is for protected areas. However, there a lack of studies examining usage’s direct and indirect relationships the influence landscape-level conditions evaluate carrying capacity. This study integrated path analysis model stakeholder assessment estimate capacity trails in area. surveyed biophysical environment along conducted establish use–impact Based on model, this...
