Abstract Cardanol, a well known natural resource, was used to produce polymer resin in the presence of formaldehyde, catalyzed by H 2 SO 4 . Before reticulation, PAni · blended with resin. The material cast into poly(propylene) cups and kept inside desiccator under vacuum until complete water evaporation. final situ blend solid could not be dissolved ordinary solvents, indicating that reticulated had been obtained. Samples prepared similarly were then characterized, showing produced blends...
Abstract Sheets of cellulosic paper were modified with PAni nanoparticles through a chromatographic process. When exposed to acidic conditions, strips the sheets are subject RGB color changes that can be detected by scanner (and similar devices used for image analyses). As consequence, analyses acid concentrations in liquid and gaseous streams. Aqueous solutions hydrochloric modeling purposes it was observed most significant when HCl content between 0–500 ppm range. Materials characterized...
Abstract Electrically conducting composites based on polyaniline‐H 2 SO 4 /polycardanol were prepared with a mechanical mixing method. The influence of the composition electrical performance was evaluated. Materials characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared Analysis and Near Analysis. X‐Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy analyses used to explain different behavior these composites. bioconductive materials showed low percolation thresholds resistances, allowing for use as pressure sensing...
The synthesis of the Ni0.5-xZn0.5-xCu2xFe2O4 (x = 0; 0.10 and 0.15) ferrite with differential pilot-scale production by combustion reaction method was investigated for RAM application purposes. Combustion temperatures ranging from 682 °C to 738 were observed. All ferrites sintered at 1200 1 h. A comprehensive study influence substitution Cu2+ in a partial proportional way Ni2+ Zn2+ ions, doping mode little reported literature, also sintering process over structural, textural, morphological,...
Radar-absorbing materials (RAMs) have been used in military applications for several decades to reduce radar detection of vessels and aircrafts. In the present work, performance Ni0.35Zn0.35Cu0.3Fe2O4 ferrite as a RAM is investigated. The was firstly synthesized by combustion reaction then calcinated at 1200 °C 1 h. Composites were prepared with 80:20, 70:30 60:40 concentrations weight ferrite:polychloroprene. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis showed single phase formation scanning electron...
