This article presents an experimental study on how tool wear affects life, surface roughness, and burr formation in ultrasonic vibration-assisted micro-milling. Small amplitude of vibration (2 µm) is applied to the micro-tools evaluate cutting performance influenced by flank as lengths increase. Compared conventional milling, lower better quality are recorded when speed much less than maximum speed. It found that use minimum quantity lubrication micro-milling can further improve due reduction wear.

Abstract Near dry machining refers to the condition of applying cutting fluid at relatively low flow rates, on order 2-100ml∕h, as opposed conventional way using either a large quantity, typically about 10l∕min, in wet machining; or no all, machining. One important expectation fluids is control temperature, which an parameter for tool life and part dimensional accuracy processes. In this context, understanding temperature variation corresponding near cooling lubrication interest. This paper...

In this study, a miniaturized thermistor sensor was produced using the Aerosol Jet printing process for temperature sensing applications. A nickel oxide nanoparticle ink with large coefficient of resistance fabricated. The printed circular NiO thin film in between two parallel silver conductive tracks on cutting tool insert. thermistor, which has an adjustable dimension submillimeter scale, operates over range 30-250 °C sensitively (B value ~4310 K) without hysteretic effects. Moreover, may...

AL-FEC (Application-Layer FEC) is already in used for protecting streaming and file delivery services against packet losses the field of wide-area multimedia broadcasting, such as DVB-H 3GPP MBMS (Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service) mobile TV systems. However, it still not a well-studied approach applying to WiFi multicast since guaranteed bandwidth service more difficult be allocated network comparison traditional In this paper, we show our experiences using an code; i.e. systematic...

Through-silicon via (TSV) is an emerging technology for three-dimensional integrated circuit, system-in-packaging and wafer-level packaging applications. Among several available TSV formation methods, Bosch deep reactive ion etching (DRIE) widely used because it enables the fabrication of TSVs with almost any diameter, from submicrometer level to hundreds micrometers. However, high cost DRIE makes uneconomical industrial production. We present a novel approach that effective cost-efficient....

This paper presents experimental studies of vibration-assisted grinding with small-amplitude vibration (in the order 1 μm) in terms ground surface finish and tool life. The objectives are to obtain finer finishes on molds longer investigation shows that can improve when compared conventional grinding. Two different frequencies conducted experiments. Results show life influenced by process parameters. In grinding, best is obtained using higher frequency 11.4 kHz lower feed rates. this study,...

Abstract Flank wear is the most common that happens in end milling process. However, process of detecting flank cumbersome. To achieve comprehensively automatic area spiral cutter, this study proposed a novel detection method combining template matching and deep learning techniques to expand curved surface images into panorama images, which more available detect areas without choosing specific position cutting tool image. You Only Look Once v4 model was employed automatically range tips....

In complementary electrochromic devices (ECDs), nickel oxide (NiO) is generally used as a counter electrode material for enhancing the coloration efficiency. However, an NiO film in ECDs susceptible to degradation upon prolonged electrochemical cycling, which leads insufficient device lifetime. this study, type of iridium (IrO2) layer was fabricated using vacuum cathodic arc plasma (CAP). We focused on comparison IrO2 and deposited 5 × cm2 indium tin (ITO) glass substrate with various Ar/O2...
