Bipolaris oryzae L. causing brown leaf spot of rice is the important diseases occurring in India. Field experiment was conducted Randomized Block Design (RBD) with four replications to assess efficacy different available fungicides market against at research farm RPCAU, Pusa, Bihar, The seven selected i.e. Difenoconazole 25% EC, Isoprothiolane 40% Kasugamycin 3% SL, Kitazin 48% Propineb 70% WP, Tebuconazole 25.9% EC and Thifluzamide 24% SC were compared control. Among evaluated, under field...

Development of insect resistance and risk to the environment due indiscriminate use conventional chemical pesticides for pest management favored introduction one new alternatives as biological control. Entomopathogenic fungi are most versatile control agents sustainable management. The considerable fungal species Metarhizium spp., Beauveria Nomuraea rileyi, Verticillium lecanii Hirsutella spp. Out these fungi, V, opportunistic widely distributed ascomycete that has ability cause mycosis in a...

Maize is the 3rd most important crop in Bihar next to rice and wheat. It grown throughout year one or other part of state. Due continuous cropping maize factors like improper use fertilizers, pesticides climate change, disease problem has increased tremendous proportion. Almost all parts plant are susceptible numerous diseases that considerably reduce yield quality crop. Among various maize, banded leaf sheath blight caused by widespread, destructive versatile pathogen Rhizoctonia solani f....

Supply chain management is a competitive advantage for logistic companies. Before giving product to consumer, confirm availability. In this study, we use internet of things (IoT) input-gathering methods check crop This technology-enabled service inputs weather, moisture, temperature, and soil fertility data outputs Machine learning monitors predicts availability by predicting weed, water, insect, animal infiltration growth. The paper suggests blockchain-based AI. Energy savings are shown....

This study was undertaken to evaluate the compatibility of commonly used agrochemicals at recommended dosages with Trichoderma harzianum 100, 250, 500, 750 and 1000 ppm concentrations by using poisoned food technique. All fungicides found be more compatible safer (Th-8 isolate) isolate all concentration these did not adversely affect growth test antagonist except Thiram. Metalaxyl least effective best isolate), since percent inhibition only 6.68 concentration. Present finding suggest that...

Sheath rot of rice caused by Sarocladium oryzae is an important disease causing heavy yield losses in all cultivated areas Agro-Climatic conditions Bihar. The present investigation was carried out Kharif 2022 at field RPCAU, Pusa Farm to evaluate the efficacy some untraditional management practices (essential oils, medicinal plants, bio agents) along with traditional methods (chemical) for sheath rice. two best were selected after one year laboratory test during 2021 viz. White Tea oil @...

Basil (Ocimum basilicum) is an important aromatic and medicinal plant extensively cultivated for essential oil production. During the growing season of 2021–22, Sclerotinia stem rot has consistently been observed on basil at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa, Bihar, India. Cottony, white mycelium large, black sclerotia were brown lesions stems leaves infected plants. The causal organism was identified as sclerotiorum based its morphological molecular characterization.

Trichoderma harziaum (Th 14) was tested in vitro for its compatibility with different concentrations of commonly used newer fungicides. Six systemic viz., hexaconazole, tubunaconazole, difenaconazole, propinconazole, carbendazim and two contact fungicides mancozeb captan were used, each at 25, 50 100 ppm. A progressive increase percent inhibition radial growth the fungus observed as increased. Among 100% recorded all except metalaxyl. Toxicity lower than fungicides, among which compatible,...
